"Candy everywhere on are floor kids loud slamming doors all hours of night and I know your full and all but breakfast was cold and not hot and kids not begin watched by adults in the pool and hot tub."

"Had reservation and receipt but the staff insisted i pay cash for my reservation. Showed him receipt. Even called expedia and they said it was paid for. Expedia did not help either. Would not fix the problem. Be careful when you use One Key Cash. It did not work property. Was stranded at 12 a.m. with no room. Ended up paying twice. Not happy with Hawthorne and certainly not happy with Expeida. I travel for a living and this was bad. "

"Our room didn't have bedding for the pull out bed, Took 3 trips to gather a pillow . Blanket and sheets. No apology. No acknowledgment either . Room was very dirty and the pool was closed due to Illinois health department orders "

"Breakfast was minimal large crowds and no staff anywhere. Toilet ran whole time and if flushed it, terrible noises for about a minute so couldn’t use it at night or woke everyone up. Used restroom in lobby and no soap with trash all over the floor. Very frustrating "

"Good info to know - Parking deck level 3 is hotel floor 2 connected via a sky bridge. Overall, I was disappointed. The lobby remodel is fantastic, but when I got to my room around 6:30 PM, there was a plate with silverware sitting on the floor next to the door. It remained there until I checked out the next morning as did a McDonald’s bag outside my neighbor’s room. There was also a coffee cup left on a ledge which was never cleaned up, too. The TV speaker crackled. There was no soap in my shower and no shampoo in my coworker’s shower. But the worst part was the doors. They slam shut. All night long, you hear them closing hard. I’m positive they could break a finger. The restaurant is slow and understaffed. Great potential here, poor execution. "

"This was a real hidden gem! It was clean, the staff was friendly, and the amenities were more than we expected. I was extremely surprised to find Crabtree and Evelyn products in the bathroom! (some times it's the little things). We would definitely stay here again!"
