"This was a wonderful place to stay while visiting the Comalcalco ruins. I’m a solo female traveler and felt completely safe the entire time. The cabanas are gorgeous, comfortable, clean, and surrounded by peaceful jungle.
The owner was fantastic — welcoming, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed and is bilingual!
It was a really lovely experience. I highly recommend Los Fundadores Estancia Ecológica, the Comalcalco ruins, and the whole town. A wonderful stop in Mexico! "

"The description of the services and property are embellished. It was rustic, and remote. No access to cooking area, pool small, bedding was old and ripped. The floor was covered in dirt/sand. The air conditioner worked as long as you were happy to be frozen. If you have a caravan and need a place to stop to organise yourself it is okay. Not suitable for romantic couple trip."
