"There was a minor glitch at check in and the host responded immediately! This rental had everything you could need and more! Kitchen appliances and supplies were great. Lots of towels and blankets. Wonderful place for those who love being in and on the water.We spent most of our indoor time on the screened in porch with had couches, a table and rocking chairs.Fire pits stocked with plenty of wood and lots of outdoor seating to take in the sunsets.This rental is located next to a public boat launch so there was a bit of activity. Launch is not a recreation area, just launch or take out and go. We had some nice visits with those using the launch….where the fish might be!Great rental with great hosts!"

"Stunningly beautiful views! Well-maintained and spotlessly clean cottage. Kitchen has everything you need, and there are 2 fridges (one mini in the kitchen, one full with freezer in basement.) Weather was hot a few days during our stay, and the window AC unit in the living room kept the whole cottage cool. The upstairs loft is very cute and cozy but is only accessible via a set of stairs that’s really more like a ladder. Both beds were extremely comfy! Enough parking for 3 cars, which worked well when we had our son’s friends visit for an afternoon. The lake is perfect for swimming and kayaks or canoes. There are restaurants and grocery store about 20 mins away…the cottage is on the far side of the lake. Can’t recommend enough!"

"The house is in a great location - nice walk into town to check out the shops, get ice cream, go out to lunch. The living space and kitchen are very spacious so your family or group can spread out. Nice sized deck and outdoor space to enjoy. Everything was clean, fully stocked linens, nicely decorated. Kids had a great time walking into the water on the pebble stone beach and going out for canoe rides. We loved everything about this house and location and hope to visit again soon! "

"We had a great time at Leon and Elaine's cabin. The cabin itself is well set up and we had all the essentials we needed for sleeping, cooking, and bathing. The outside space is great, we had a fire almost every night and paddled as far as we dared on the large lake which is easily accessible from multiple points on the property. Leon was very helpful with information and supplies and patiently made friends with our shy dog over the course of 6-ish days. There's some great hiking near by and a medium-sized grocery store about 20 minutes away. We would stay again."
