"The hotel was cosy and seemed popular with locals, which is very reassuring! The staff were welcoming and helpful when we arrived and offered us to enjoy a buffet dinner that evening. The room was wonderful, so cosy, comfortable beds, extremely clean. The bathroom was roomy and cleaned to an excellent standard. The heating in the room doesn't shut off and it reached 25⁰ at one point, but rather than turn the heat off/down, we were advised to open the window. This worked fine (as you can imagine) but the traffic/delivery noises and the high winds in the night with an open window made for a less perfect sleep than could have been. I would stay here again gladly, it was a lovely hotel with helpful staff and the breakfast was excellent."

"This is a fabulous little gem of a place in the mountains of Norway. Rooms are clean and tidy. Common areas have fun touches like folk tale art on chair backs and other hand curated items. The hotel restaurant offers up wonderful food - including desserts made with local mountain berries and (if you are a meat eater) options like a reindeer burger with creamy cheese, both balancing flavors with the expert touch you might not expect from a hotel kitchen. Truly - if you stay at the Trolltun Hotel, plan to have dinner there. Your taste buds will thank you. "

"This apartment as advertised is really a fishing cabin. The cabin is in poor shape. The front door does not close completely. Paint is peeling off the front porch and picnic table. And the wooden fencing around the property has broken boards. There are also weeds growing through the stairs leading up to the front door.Inside the “cabin”, there were sheets for only one bed, no pillow cases, or covers for the comforters. There were towels however. The cabin has a musty smell to it. Lights over the kitchen counter did not work. And the breaker for the oven had to be turned off and on to get the oven to work. There was only one pot. A few more pots for cooking would be helpful. The light in the bathroom is too dim, and should be brighter.We did like the shower.In short the current advertising for the property is misleading. I would not have rented this property if I knew there would be all the deficiencies I have cited here."
