"Hotel is in a perfect location with lots of places to shop around. They have a restaurant in the hotel, which we didn't try but it looked and smelled delicious. We only stayed one night and the room was in excellent condition. The hallways and room doors and beautiful. The front desk was very professional and courteous. "I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the room I received. I booked a 2 queen with a pull-out couch for 3 people and thought the room would feel cramped. The exact opposite was what I received. The room was very spacious and the pull out was a full couch, not just a love seat. The room also had a balcony where I sat and watched 2 bunnies hopping around in the forested area behind the hotel. Very peaceful! "Elevator was broken BUT I was alerted & told I could cancel my reservation w/o any penalty. I stayed anyway (a couple flights of stairs was good exercize). TV did not work properly in my initial room BUT was given a better room with a good TV. Staff did their best so I will use Canfield again next time I stay in Dbq. [I've stayed in Hiltons & Hyatt's that have also had 'things' break down. What's important is how staff responds!]"
