Dr. Aris T. Allen Memorial

The staff was very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful! We liked the breakfast and having a Starbucks at the hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

The location is excellent to proximity to key DC tourist sites. The hotel does charge additional "fees" that I was not aware of when originally booked and prepaid for. The "fees" are not the hotel's fault apparently they are city tourist fees. But unexpected. The hotel staff was excellent and helpful with all the million questions I asked since it was my first time in DC. They accommodated some unique requests by my travel companions at all hours and we were extremely thankful. The hotel restaurants are very pricey, but all the restaurants in that area are because of the location so be aware when budgeting. I would definitely stay there again.
