  • Close to two "most beautiful villages of France" (Tourtour / Moustier Sainte Marie) and 30 minutes from Lake St. Croix and Gorges du Verdon, you can visit our beautiful region. Also 45m from the sea, you can go relax on the beaches of the Cote d'Azur for a relatively short ride!

    Small shed nestled in the forest, fully equipped (kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom, living room), ideal for a stay with family or friends.
    Dependence close to the main house, allowing a certain intimacy while not being too isolated.

    A flowered terrace will be at your disposal to relax in the sun or to have lunch outdoors.

    Possessing 7 hectares of forest, you can take the time to find yourself during a walk in the woods (hiking trails available in the vicinity).

    Warning: we have animals on site: two cats and a dog (Brittany spaniel, male, 4 years, castrated, very sweet character). They are not in the cottage, but at the main house. If problem with the dog, we can attach it for the duration of your stay.

A little bit of paradise

We had a lovely stay at this little house. It was well-equipped and the proprietors were friendly and helpful. Note that the house is somewhat remote, so best to stock up on a few groceries on the way. We loved it.

Very well equiped gîte in the middle of the bush. Sharon provided us with wine, eggs, bread, toast, coffee, etc...all free. Lovely dog and cat. Village Ampus is real Provence.

Es fehlt einfach an nichts und man kann von Anfang an den Charme des französischen Lebens genießen und kennenlernen. Sehr sehr nette und liebe Vermieter mit vielen Tipps für die Urlaubsplanung. Das Dorf Ampus ist Klischee pur und einfach nur Provence pur so wie viele kleine Dörfer der Umgebung. Absolut empfehlenswert der Lac de st. Croix und die Verdon Schlucht.

Fijne plek

Wij hebben een fijne tijd gehad in dit huisje. Het is eenvoudig, maar goed schoon en mooi gelegen. De ontvangst was erg vriendelijk en gastvrij. Vooral de verse eitjes, boter, melk en water waren welkom. Bij slecht weer is het iets minder comfortabel om lang binnen te moeten zitten.

Cabanon à Ampus

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Cabanon de Sharon qui a été au petits soins pour nous ! Discrète, mais à l'écoute des vacanciers, et quelle gentillesse ! Ce petit cabanon est idéalement placé pour découvrir les charmes du Haut Var ! Belle terrasse pour profiter des extérieur (à l'ombre !!!), 2 grandes chambres, parfait pour des familles ou amis. Attention toutefois, il y a un escalier (donc attention jeunes enfants et personnes âgées). Recommandé vivement !

Bien plus qu'un cabanon!

Bien plus qu’un cabanon comme le présente le nom, une vraie maison avec tout le confort et tout ce qu’il faut. Pour cuisiner, il ne manque absolument rien, même dans les plus petits détails. Nous y sommes restés une semaine inoubliable. A l’arrivée, Sharon nous a réservé un accueil chaleureux, bouteille de vin blanc, confiture, œufs frais, huile d’olive de l’endroit, des draps bien propres et qui sentent bon. L’endroit est vraiment calme pour se reposer, absolument aucune nuisance sonore. La terrasse pour manger dehors est spacieuse et conviviale. C’est pour nous le meilleur rapport qualité prix de cet endroit. Pour ceux qui recherchent un logement propre, confortable, économique et au calme , nous recommandons à 200% cet hébergement.

Provence wie aus dem Bilderbuch und ein Katzensprung zum Verdon

Das Häuschen liegt schön am Hang mitten in lichten Wäldern und Wiesen. Die Vermieterin wohnt nebenan, ist kaum zu bemerken und sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ihr putziger kleiner Hund hat uns gern besucht und für Freude gesorgt. Frisches Baguette, Eier von den hauseigenen Hühnern, Mineralwasser etc. lagen für uns bereit - eine schöne Willkommensgeste. Die Terasse ist wunderbar, leider aber nicht regendicht. Die Küche ist klein aber komplett und mit ihren bunten Fliessen und Details sehr liebenswert. Die Schlafzimmer fanden wir großzügig und gut, die Betten waren straff und komfortabel. Wer deutsche Gründlichkeit und rechte Winkel in der Ausstattung erwartet, könnte enttäuscht werden - wir fanden den Cabanon äußerst liebenswert und schön und wären am liebsten direkt eingezogen. Unsere Hauptziele, der Gorge du Verdon sowie die Mittelmeerküste waren schnell zu erreichen, wenn man keine Angst vor engen Straßen und Kurven hat. Ampus selbst ist eine typische Ortschaft, malerisch auf einem Hügel gelegen mit schmalen Gassen, vielen Blumen sowie schönen Feldsteinhäusern. Sehr bemerkenswert fanden wir Chateaudouble und Bargème. Der Markt in Aups hat sich ebenso gelohnt, wie Sillans-la-Cascade und der Gorge du Pennafort. Die Vermieterin hat eine Landkarte mit markierten lohnenswerten Zielen sowie eine Liste der Märkte im Umkreis vorbereitet - sehr schön. Wir können uns gut vorstellen, hier wieder einen schönen Urlaub zu verbringen. Sehr empehlenswert.

Vraiment très très bien!

C était comme on l ‘avait imaginé : un très joli cabanon, avec tout ce qu il faut à l intérieur,de très jolis paysages, un accueil de rêve, de belles balades à faire et une boulangerie de grande qualité à Ampus! Bref, c était vraiment très très bien et à refaire très vite. Encore mil mercis à nos hôtes.

Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht ist hier genau richtig.

Das kleine, gemütliche Cabanon liegt sehr idyllisch mitten in der Natur. Wo einem morgens beim Frühstück schon der Duft von Lavendel in die Nase steigt. Da wir tolles Wetter hatten, nutzen wir zum Chillen, Essen, Plaudern vorwiegend den schön gestalteten Außenbereich. Dabei gefielen unserem Sohn besonders die anhänglichen und liebevollen Haustiere (der Hund Frost und die Katze). Das Häuschen ist auf zwei Etagen aufgeteilt. Unten befindet sich ein kleiner Aufenthaltsraum, die kleine Küche und das Bad, mit großer Dusche. In der oberen Etage befinden sich zwei Schlafzimmer, ein Ankleideraum/Gardarobe und eine Toilette. Es ist wirklich alles vorhanden vom Besteck, Gläser, Waagen (Küche und Bad) bis zum Bügeleisen mit Brett. Sharon, die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Bei unserer Ankunft hatten wir verschiedene Wasser und eine Flasche Wein im Kühlschrank. In den Schlafzimmern standen ebenfalls Wasserflaschen zum Trinken. Die selbstgemachte Marmelade und das Gelee hat uns sehr geschmeckt. Danke nochmal. Mit Rat und Tat stand Sharon uns zur Seite, wenn es für uns auch sprachlich etwas holprig war, verstanden wir uns gut. Mit Karten und tollen Ausflugstipps, die wir auch prompt umsetzten, versorgte sie uns (z.B. Lac de Sainte-Croix, Verdonschlucht - Boot fahren und wandern, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, Tourtour, Märkte in Ampus und Aups, von St.Maxime nach St.Tropez). Es war eine tolle Woche und für uns perfekt. Sehr schöner Urlaub

Wir waren eine Woche im Juli hier und haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub gehabt. Morgens wurden wir von Sharon mit einem erstklassigen Frühstück verwöhnt. Es war sehr ruhig, mitten in der schönen Natur. Sharon hat uns liebevoll empfangen und gab uns tolle Tipps für Ausflüge. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Ruhe und Entspannung in schöner Umgebung

Wir waren 2 Wochen in dieser Ferienwohnung in der Nähe von Ampus. Wunderschön gelegen - vor allem der Spazierweg hinter dem Haus war wunderschön. Auch für unsere Hunde ideal. Außerdem gibt es viele schöne Dörfer in der Nähe und am liebsten waren wir am Lac de Sainte-Croix (viel ruhiger als an der Küste). Vielen Dank Sharon Manon
