And I also like many good paints and decorations inside the house which remind me of the long history of it.I really appreciated how smooth and hassle-free everything was from check-in to check-out. "The staff and ground were fantastic. Pool and hot tub area bliss! You can propane grill bring food there is a deck for you. The inside is warm and welcoming. Yes it was warm but we survived as we are in a heat wave and the pool is open till 10. Room was fine. Great view kitchen had all we needed. Nice bedding and towels. It’s an older venue so don’t come thinking it’s The Ritz. Come and enjoy the grounds location views and the history of the Crag."

"Liked that we could easily walk to town, just a block away from visitor center. Comfy bed. Parking lot and area was clean and well maintained. Felt safe. Our room was directly under lobby so it was loud at times. We didn’t use any of the extras- just slept there. Dog friendly with a per night fee. Would stay here again!"

"The area was clean, affordable if not wanting to pay the estes park rates if visiting Rocky Mountain national park. The check in staff was very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I had was breakfast, I guess you can’t expect much from a hotel. But I have traveled a lot and I was not happy that when you say breakfast is 6-9 am and then you run out by 7 am and don’t refill it, was disappointing, Also putting out green oranges. And no yogurts or other fruit types. Also the room in our floor was sticky, there was huge stains on the carpet. We wore shoes the whole time on the carpets they were disgusting."
