Rental House right on Lake Senwca

Very quiet peaceful getaway right on Lake Seneca. The property was very comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, and the fire pit and hot tub overlooking the water were wonderful ways to relax after exploring Watkins Glen and the local wineries!

Awesome getaway on the lake

House was perfect for a family getaway on the lake. House has two large size bed rooms and a large family room. Great view of the lake with a deck overlooking the dock and lake. Hottub was excellent to relax in as well.

Great weekend getaway

Had a great stay! The location was perfect, close to the wineries & only a 20 min drive to Watkins Glen! Enjoyed beautiful sunrises from the covered porch & relaxing evenings in the hot tub! The only thing I had a problem with was the large gaps in the fence that my dogs could easily get through & the fact they needed to be on the leash while in the yard. Not a huge problem but not what I expected

Week end getaway

A friend and I decided to go for a little wine tasting. Not exactly the best weather or time of year for it, but hey….. the place was cozy, the beds were comfy and the place was available. Hopefully we will make another trip for the summer and it will be available.

Cozy, pet-friendly retreat

Cozy cottage right on the lake. We loved starting our day soaking in the hot tub while watching the sunrise. We brought our two dogs, and they enjoyed the fenced in yard and swimming at the public beach which is just down the road.

Amazing lake view on a quiet street

We loved our stay at this cozy cottage on the lake. The location was perfect, close enough to local wineries, breweries, restaurants, and still a quiet, secluded cottage to come back to at night. We enjoyed the hot tub with the phenomenal view of the lake. The check in and check out process was easy with communication from the property manager. We hope to return in the summer to enjoy the lake.

Great view

Cottage is near the end of a dead end road and is very peaceful. Wonderful view of sun and moon rise. Although the cottage needs some updating, it was immaculate which is more important for me.

Weekend on the lake

Such a perfect location! The cottage is right on the water, amazing views from the living room, porch and dock! It’s close to everything you could possibly want to explore. We did a day in Canandigua and another day near Penn Yan checking out breweries. The cottage itself was clean and spacious. Filtered water was a nice touch. It had everything we needed. Definitely hope to come again.

I had a quick two night stay and enjoyed the place. The hot tub was nice and clean. Good location and very comfortable bed. Although smaller bathroom and kitchen. Very clean and check in and out was seamless.

Long weekend stay.

Property was as described. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in as soothing music was playing on tv, lights were on, and electric fireplace was on. Bed we slept on was comfortable and although we didn’t really cook at property the kitchen seemed well stocked. House was clean and hot tub was great for after dinner soaks with views of the lake. We really enjoyed our stay.

Relaxed on Seneca Lake

The property is beautiful with magnificent views! Perfect location - do as much or as little as you choose. The cottage is super clean & equipped with everything we needed. A helpful hint - put the house number on a plaque at the end of the driveway.

Wine Get Away

Great location, enjoyed the beautiful lake! Property is fine for a short stay, nothing fancy but does the job! The only suggestion would be to have more amenities like prepackaged coffee, cream, etc.. Not a lot of shopping close and hours vary in this area so can be difficult to get these items. But despite that, I would stay at this property again.

Clean and comfy

We had a nice stay - the house is just as advertised and was very clean. We went in late November, and it was cold/rainy/snowy much of the stay, so we didn't use the outside space. It was a great property for this time of year though with a cozy electric fireplace and a hot tub overlooking the lake. It also has almost a full glass wall facing the lake, so the view is wonderful. The kitchen is very small, but functional and had everything we needed for cooking an easy dinner. The living room and bedrooms were spacious and there is a ton of storage! Bathroom is also very tiny, but clean and worked for us. The location is amazing, we walked to a playground and were very close to the Keuka Outlet Trail. Wineries and Breweries are only a few minutes away.

Beautiful Cottage

The cottage had a wonderful view of Seneca Lake. The covered porch was great to have meals and play cards while enjoying the wonderful view. The master bedroom was huge with a king-sized soft bed and plenty of room for bags and dog beds for our fur babies. Having a fenced in area for the dogs was very beneficial and living 4 houses from the end of the road, kept the traffic at the bare minimum. The dock was long and in good shape but there was a tremendous amount of seaweed. I did not get in the water due to the seaweed but i was in the great hot tub very often.

Nice place in peaceful location

Overall a nice place in a quiet location. Only complaint was the water quit working. Call to owner received no response. Luckily, the water came back on but would have been nice to hear back

Nice, quiet getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Inside was very clean and welcoming. Our pets enjoyed the stay, also. Our only issue was the amount of overgrowth on the steps and boat house down to the water. It made the stairs down dangerous and very tight. There was a great deal of poison growing in the brush too. It was disappointing because the posted pics made the area and the view from hot tub so open but was not the case. We still had a good stay but the stress of the growth and descent was there.

Beautiful!

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was clean on arrival, and the house keeper even had relaxing music playing for us. We brought our two dogs, so the fenced in property was perfect for them to roam around and give us peace of mind. The location was the best part. We were 25min each way from Watkins Glen and Geneva. We never drove far to get to all the wineries and breweries. The neighborhood was quiet and secluded. When we didn't venture out to trails, walking around the neighborhood was peaceful. The sunrises and sunset from the dock were breathtaking. It was our first time at the Fingerlakes and we will definitely be back and would stay here again!

Cute lake front property

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage while in town to see the eclipse. Pros: Super view of the lake! The house was well equipped for cooking. It was clean and the living area was comfortable. Bedrooms were good sized, beds were comfortable. Kitchen and bath were a bit tight but adequate. Close to many good wineries, hiking, and yummy frozen custard. We did not use the hot tub. Cons: the inside you use a bit of paint in a few spots. The yard was full of debris but then it was just the start of spring in upstate New York. I assume it gets raked in spring. Old rusty decorations and non- functioning lamps in the deck should be removed. Would be good to have more lights that work outside.

Property worked out perfectly for 3 adults and 2 dogs. We appreciated the fenced in yard and access to the water. Hot tub was a nice bonus and the temp was just right.
