Amazing location, weird odor.
We came to Dresden for the Christmas Markets. Our group consists of three adults. The location of this hotel can’t be beat. That said, housekeeping is sloppy and they don’t refill coffee, creamers, even toilet paper properly. The biggest issue was the odor which I suspect might be from the carpets but it was very similar to sweat or BO. We didn’t try the breakfast because there are so many cute cafes and restaurants within 1-10 minute walking distance. The design is incredibly basic and uninteresting. The bar which is closed on Sundays and Mondays is also quite basic. This hotel is designated as a 4.5 star hotel but in the US, it wouldn’t pass as a 4.5 star hotel. It’s more akin to a US 3.5 star.

We do our best for our guests every day.We check every room for unpleasant odors, especially from outside.We are very sorry that you have booked a hotel whose design is not to your liking. Our hotel is consistently Italian design with high-quality materials and timeless design.We would also like to inform you that we currently do not have a hotel star classification. We ask for your understanding that the standards in Europe differ from those in the USA. However, we can safely say that we can compete with many city boutique hotels worldwide, as our ratings prove.Nevertheless, we would be delighted to welcome you back again.Best regards

I love this hotel. It is so convenient, right at the center of old town, near everything. It has parking at Q-park with reserved area for this hotel and it is accessible right from hotel. I have junior room and it is very spacious, feel very luxurious. It is very clean. Staff is very nice. The best.

I booked a junior room and it was very roomy, looking new and clean and luxurious. The parking situation is not easy especially due to an town event on Sunday. They helped me a few times to how to drive into parking entrance. All other staff are also very helpful and nice. Everything is 5/5 from quality of room, staff, location and parking conveniences. it cost extra but worth the money considering it is so hard to park. I had researched days and planned to park at a cheap location a few minutes away. But being able to park your car directly under this hotel (it shares with a-park) is so much nicer. I would definitely come back to this hotel if I ever return to visit my wife’s friends again.

Hotel is in the best location, central to palaces, market square, great restaurants selections within short walking distance and nearby tourists sites. Very nice hotel bed was very comfortable room was as described shower and bath was perfect the 3 things i did not like the room was very cold and the heating did not work and having to wait for lift to leave the building was very frustrating as there is no stairs available and when i went to check out they tried saying i owe 300 euro for the room plus city tax and other expenses after explaining i already paid for the room on expedia the guy at reception realised the mistake and corrected it. Apart from these little problems i really recommend vienna house qf i love dresden and this hotel is in a perfect location with great views and staff are very welcoming. Will return again.

Perfect Stay in Dresden!
This is a beautiful and very modern hotel in the heart of Dresden, close to the Frauenkirche, near the Martin Luther statue. There were plenty of restaurants right nearby. My room was incredibly comfortable with a terrific bathroom. The lovely bar, with a charming bartender, had great service and prices. The staff was very helpful. The elevators, one glass in the middle of the hotel, worked quickly. There was excellent water pressure in the bathroom. My room had both a large tub and a separate shower. The lighting was great. The bed was large and comfortable. There were plenty of sockets for charging electronics. It was immaculately clean. In the morning, there was delicious free coffee in the lobby. I did not have breakfast but did see the nice buffet. These folks thought of everything that makes a guest comfortable. HIGHLY recommend.

Lovely hotel, perfect location!
We stayed here for an overnight in Dresden and loved it. The location right on the main square is perfect for maximizing your time and experience in Dresden. The hotel is beautifully redone. Very nice and clean and a very comfortable mattress. Breakfast was absolutely incredible and worth the extra money. Staff is gracious and helpful. Highly recommended!

Great Location
Great centrally located hotel, very close to the church of our lady. Our room was very clean and spacious overlooking the large square. Loved the bathroom, it had a bath plus a separate shower. Only thing missing was a bath foam in the toiletries collection to have a nice relaxing bubble bath. ( did purchase some for my stay). The lobby had a very impressive glass lift shaft. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall we had an excellent stay.

Great Gem of a Hotel is Absolutely Great Location
My wife and I stayed 3 nights at Vienna House QF in Dresden as part of a 10-day European trip. Vienna House QF is a relatively new hotel directly on Neumarkt Square in old Dresden. It has a period exterior which blends into the surroundings but a very modern interior. It is easy walking from all the old town sights, many restaurants and bars, as well as a large modern downtown shopping mall. Our room was very large with a great, spacious bathroom. The hotel had free Wi-Fi. We were there on a Saturday, Sunday and Monday night. There was some early morning construction noise across the street on Monday, but otherwise our 4th floor room was quiet. The have a very chic top-floor bar, but unfortunately it was closed Sunday and Monday nights and apparently also occasionally has private parties. We enjoyed it only one night. There is a wonderful view of old Dresden from the bar’s outdoor patio. Front desk staff were absolutely wonderful – both very friendly and helpful. There is self-parking in an underground garage with an elevator directly into the hotel. Parking is 21 Euro per night. Our GPS took us close, but not exactly to the hotel as a street was closed for construction. To unload luggage and check-in, you must carefully drive across the Neumarkt Square and watch out for pedestrians! There is actually an easy it and out entrance to the parking garage across the square which does not require entering the pedestrian area. A great stay at a very reasonable price.

absolute gem of a hotel
amazing location, beautiful hotel, excellent service loved it. There is construction in the main square and they broke a water supply line to the hotel so we didn't have hot water for the dat and night before checking out, but even then the staff was so friendly and apologetic (even though it was out of there control and not their fault) I couldn't help but still love the hotel. The location seriously could not be any better anywhere in Dresden, absolutely fabulous hotel.

We enjoyed the stay in Vienna House very much. The only downside was finding it by car, and then finding the car park. Once we had done that, it was easy to access the hotel by lift.

A lovely hotel right in the center of the old city. Helpful staff, very clean rooms, lots to see and do nearby. Our GPS had trouble guiding us to the hotel, as it is located on a pedestrian square, but once we were there, everything we wanted to see was right within easy walking distance.

Good location but terrible experience. Air conditioning did not work in either of our rooms which were located on separate floors. We reported the issue to the manager who finally admitted that it did not work. It was a terrible night of sleep with the heat along with the street noise. We were never offered anything for the inconvenience. I would never stay here again.
