"Hotel Contessina is brilliant. An oasis of a hotel in what is a bustling resort town. Once inside the doors you could be anywhere in the world. The design of the renovated hotel is brilliant. Modern and sophisticated, and the planting is beautifully done. We enjoyed 2 weeks here, using it as a base to discover the island when we had a car for some of the time. The main pool area is lovely, but be warned, all of the pools are 1.4m deep with no shallow / deep ends."

"This hotel is spectacular. The food is outstanding and a really well thought out menu each night. The staff are on their A game and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spotless and the whole hotel has a modern clean feel to it. If anyone writes a poor review about this hotel I wouldn’t waste your time reading it! "Very nice experience at Elegance with amazing staff and very helpful Manager. She was attending all requests by herself. The rooms were very large and super clean and the service was excellent.
