Thing to note: There is nothing nicer than sitting on the deck with a glass of local wine (provided) listening to nature and being present in the peace and tranquility that Ironbark Cabin offers. Ironbark Cabin is an ideal space for a couple. It has a beautiful wood fire for those cold nights and an air conditioner for the warmer months. Firewood is provided. We have 2 friendly dogs, Ollie the Border Collie and Max, a Kelpiex labrador. The love people. They don't venture into the fenced area of Ironbark Cabin.

We loved everything about this property, the hosts have put so much effort into the little details and it just made our stay so comfortable. The perfect little getaway cabin. We can’t wait to come back.
A fantastic property, well supplied with everything you could need. The breakfast provisions were excellent - the local bread in particular was a highlight. Great location, and the views were spectacular. Just what I needed for a relaxing weekend away.
We loved our time at this property - just what we needed! A beautiful view, quiet surrounds and very close to lots do do in the area. All we needed was provided and it was a wonderful winter weekend to sit in front of the fire and relax.
A beautiful spot and Heather was a wonderful host. We hope to be back!
The view and the location was just breathtaking. The place was so nice and simple, had everything we need to have a great getaway from the city life. Definitely a experience I enjoyed and would do again.
This was a lovely break from the city for us. This cute cabin was beautifully clean and while compact was all the space we needed to relax and unwind. The check in was a breeze and the complimentary bottle of wine was lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
An absolutely beautiful cabin set on a wonderful piece of land. Heather went above and beyond our expectations to make our stay as comfortable and peaceful as possible. Highly recommend!

What's not to like?
Ironbark Cabin was the perfect getaway for myself and my partner, a cozy little space with beautiful views, the little bbq oven was perfect for making homemade pizzas, the complimentary items were so lovely. For such an amazing and peaceful little escape that also was not overpriced like so many other listings, we are recommending Ironbark cabin to everyone we know and it will be on our list of places to return to in the future.
This property was the perfect getaway from the hustle and grind of our everyday city life. The cabin contained everything we needed in terms of cooking facilities and we especially loved the fresh bread, eggs, home made jam and milk that Heather provided on arrival. Communication was prompt and the view was pure serenity. Would definately go back again.
Lovely views across valley to distant ranges.Cosy open wood fire on cold winter nights.
Would recommend couples. Not suitable for children as they would be easily bored by the serenity!
Note from the main sealed road to the property is 1km of unsealed road.
We had a wonderful stay at this property for the weekend. The cabin itself was very clean, comfortable and cozy. It turned quite cold the weekend we were there (goodbye summer), but we stayed plenty warm. There was a fire pit outside and a wood burning fireplace inside as well. After exploring the local area, we spent our evenings on the deck with a glass of wine, watching the bunnies and kangaroos in the paddock - so much serenity!
Heather was an excellent host. Friendly and good communication.
Would happily stay here again if we’re in the area.
Loved our short stay at this wonderful property. Every conceivable small thing that could make it enjoyable was provided. Warm and comfy bed, wonderful wood file, beautiful fresh, warm bread. All utensils and cooking and cleaning things. Chocolates, coffee pods …. Wonderful communication. Fire was on when we arrived so it was warm and cosy. Clean and beautiful outlook with wombats, kangaroos and a fox. Highly recommended
The cabin is cosy, comfortable and with a unique charm. I felt at ease when I walked through the door. With the fire going and knowing I had farm fresh eggs, fresh bread and homemade jam I did not need to leave. An amazing view, cows enjoying their hay and rabbits running around the paddock. Heather is a fantastic host and made sure I was happy. Restocking my firewood; giving me a great recommendation for a local cafe and introducing me to her two beautiful friendly dogs. It was perfect for a recharge weekend.
What is not to like about this property? It's cosy, clean and well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The host was friendly and easy to contact but respected our privacy.
Complimentary breakfast items and wine were provided along with fire wood and cooking staples.
The bed was super comfortable.
This place is in such a beautiful setting with an idyllic view over the valley. We sat for hours on the deck listening to the sounds of nature around us, watching the sun come up or the night slowly set in.
A surprise bonus was we were lucky enough to watch the Aurora Australis turn the night sky to a riot of colour during the recent geomagnetic storm.
All of these components made for a magical stay.
We have already recommended Iron bark cabin to several friends and would love to return again soon.
Thanks to Heather and family for creating this beautiful place.
Really lovely stay, private and welcoming. it was lovely to do a bit of reading from the books available while watching birds and enjoying a coffee. Very peaceful and rejuvenating.
It was a very relaxing stay and we looking forward to returning soon.
Heather's hospitality was just wonderful and she was very helpful too.
The cabin, the farm and countryside was just so beautiful.
Looking forward to our next stay.
