The Cabin The Cabin was relocated from Hepburn and renovated to make a wonderful retreat featuring Phoebe Everill's furniture throughout the space.
The Cabin is fully equipped with everything you might need, including a small kitchen and bbq to give you plenty of options to cook a meal using locally sourced ingredients from the farmers markets that operate throughout the area each weekend. .... a cosy space to sit infront of the fire, enjoy the incredible views across Wombat State Forest. .... a luxurious queen bed, made by Phoebe Everill, for a wonderful night's sleep .... a lovely deck to enjoy the sunrise with a coffee or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. .... books and a SMART tv are availalbe to help keep you entertained or a walk down to the very large dam at the bottom of the property which you can also swim in. ... there is an abundance of wildlife on the property so bring bonoculars if you are interested in bird watching.
Ironbark Cabin is very close to Glenlyon, a 10 minute drive where you can go to the General Store for brekky, lunch or a cocktail. You can also visit The Stables at Malmsbury for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Guest access Ironbark Cabin is self check-in. You have Ironbark Cabin all to yourself during your stay with a private yard, fire pit and onsite carpark. You are welcome to meander around the property which is directly infront of the Cabin.
Thing to note: There is nothing nicer than sitting on the deck with a glass of local wine (provided) listening to nature and being present in the peace and tranquility that Ironbark Cabin offers. Ironbark Cabin is an ideal space for a couple. It has a beautiful wood fire for those cold nights and an air conditioner for the warmer months. Firewood is provided. We have 2 friendly dogs, Ollie the Border Collie and Max, a Kelpiex labrador. The love people. They don't venture into the fenced area of Ironbark Cabin.
