Drummond Island Hotel & Vacation Homes - Big Bear

Big Bear is a Finnish built cabin that overlooks a beautiful marsh - the perfect setting for wildlife viewing and for hitting the trails in your SxS or ATV! Cranes, geese, deer and bear are common visitors. This two story home features 2 bedrooms and sleeps 8* comfortably. The main floor has the unique charm of the original Finnish cabin with a stone bread oven in the living room (not for use by renters). Historical artifacts from years past adorn the living room and dining room. Also on the main floor is a fully appointed kitchen along with the second full guest bathroom with shower. On site is a large Finnish Sauna so please make time to enjoy while staying at this beautiful Cabin!

· If you are making this reservation within 24 hours of arrival please call for check in instructions.
· Check-In after 4 PM. Check-Out by 9 AM Check in at Drummond Island Hotel & Vacation Homes,
34834 S Townline Road. We will provide you with directions.
· Any fees associated with processing a credit card will NOT be refunded if you cancel your reservation.
· Pets welcome. Pet reservation is required. Please read our Pet Policy. Two Dog max. A $50 per pet fee will be added by Property Manager.
· All reservations have a 30 Day Cancellation Policy.

Nice Cabin
Plenty of room. Clean. It offers privacy. Plenty of wildlife. No AC so can be a little warm but there are fans. Nice kitchen. Wifi was fine.

When we first entered the cabin it was VERY musty smelling. We opened the windows to air it out which helped a little. There were a lot a flies inside both dead and alive. It was as if the cabin had been closed up for an extended period of time without anyone checking on it. The location and outside the property are great! The place has a lot of potential but needs a deep cleaning.

Nice property, backing up to a marsh. Lots of wildlife to be seen, including the Black Bear who greeted us, upon arrival!
