We spent most of our stay on the top deck and the pool area. This house has everything we needed for our family stay. It was one of the most relaxing holidays we have had. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Casa Mariposa as a holiday home was better than we anticipated. Unfortunate the pool was unable to be used due to maintenance issues. Part of the reason we wanted to stay at this home was to use the pool and its outdoor entertaining area. We were contacted by the management company a day prior to our stay to inform us that the pool was not useable and they have had issues getting people to repair it and they offered for us to stay at alternative apartment accommodation in Airlie Beach. We were still wanting the retreat like accommodation of Casa Mariposa instead of apartment accommodation. Disappointing as we had booked this accommodation in advance and it looked as if the pool had not been in use or maintained for sometime. However, when we had issues with wifi connection, the property management company delivered another modem which was appreciated. Also great service in returning my daughter’s water bottle in the post that she had left on our departure. We would love to return to Casa Mariposa when the pool is in working order sometime in the future."
