Very nice cabin with everything needed to cook and keep food fresh. It’s cozy with a nice lake view. More communication with check-in would have been very helpful. It took two phone calls to Expedia to find out how to check-in.

Staying in a cottage on a lake was a real treat compared to the usual highway hotels and motels. A nice deck for happy hour and there is a full kitchen and it was so nice to have a real oven to cook our take-and-bake pizza. We had trouble connecting to WiFi but the friendly host helped us out. The only complaint I have is that the shower head is mounted too high and cannot be adjusted.

We were thrilled with this little cabin, larger than we thought it would be. It was clean and rustically decorated. Beds were comfortable .Kitchen was well equipped. We had a fast chat with Shane, the host. Very friendly. He was having difficulty with the internet. Was fine with us to just enjoy the setting. YES it is very close to the railway tracks. We just made a game of it to see who would be first to hear it coming. Perhaps 5 went by afternoon into early evening. (My husband 79, thought it was great and went to wave) We would definitely stay again.

The cabin was cozy and looked like the pictures. However, the patio chairs and table could have been wiped down and clean, not covered in pollen, dust and leaves. There was no WiFi as advertised. The fridge needed to be cleaned and contents removed. Kitchen sink was not clean and came with dirty dishes. The coffee maker came with old coffee still in the carafe. And the garage can came with garbage. There was also a dead animal near by if not under the deck. It was giving off a very foul odor. Bbq worked and the beds were comfortable.

There was no street address, had to ask a neighbor where the place is. They said to check the router on the counter to make sure it is on, there was no router any where, so there was no Wifi available. There was only enough hot water for one shower.

This site would be ok for fishing getaway - would not recommend for family or couples thinking a romantic get away-not Older very rustic- furniture old with lots of use & some tears. Trains are within 50’ or so directly behind the cabin & yes! The trains ran every few hours & very noisy. Yes- even during the nite.

Cabin was located next to railroad tracks, pretty loud whenever train passed by. And that's like 5 to 6 times a night. It was clean, and I liked the bed/mattress. No water pressure at all, couldn't shower or flush the toilet.

The cabin is situated 50 feet from an active and busy railroad track. The trains rolled by almost every 2 hours through the night. This was neither restful nor quaint. The internet was not working either.

Lovely cabin on Wabigoon Lake near Dryden

The cabin is perfect for a week's getaway for up to four people. Unfortunately we could only stay one night. Comfortable and clean, everything you want and need in a serene setting. Bring a canoe and a fishing rod and you're in heaven.
