"The room are spacious but maintenance is spotty with multiple calls to maintenance to change bulbs, fix safe, try to get water pressure, etc. Also many interactions with housekeeping for basic items like the coffee service replenished, extra glasses, tissue, bathroom tissue. While promptly delivered it is an annoyance to have to keep calling over the course of a 2 week stay!
The spa is located in a dark and cavernous basement floor.
The restaurants we tried were not pleasing and ordering food or drink at the pool is abysmal. The pizza was thrown on the table in a cardboard box and we had to chase down staff to provide napkins and cutlery. During the last week of our stay guests were chased out of pool area at 5PM on the dot so they could set up for a Ramadan dinner every night.
Concierge staff with the exception of Kyle who was superb were apathetic and less than knowledgeable when asked for suggestions for restaurants, directions, etc.
The Vault, their bar on the upper floor is frequented by prostitutes looking to meet up with the many businessmen that stay at the hotel.
The Executive Lounge is like a Lord of the Flies experience with business men elbowing other guests out of the way to secure a table. They may as well have rung a bell because when they say cocktail service is available from 6-8 they aren’t kidding. Don’t try asking at 5:59 or 8:01…..there is zero flexibility or hospitality.
The lobby while enormous does not even have a couple of chairs to rest on.
