Friendly, helpful staff. The cooks and servers went above and beyond to accommodate my son with nut allergies. Delicious food. Loved the pools. Could use more lounger chairs and less Cabanas in the adult pool. Friendly life guards, making sure rules and safety are being followed. Our rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels. Front staff in lobby welcoming and friendly. We will hopefully return to Dubai and stay in this lovely hotel again. Highly recommend!

We planned to stay for 2 nights as a city break. We left after one night and booked an alternative hotel. We were on the 6th floor and all we could hear was the tram and traffic. In fairness to the hotel, when checking out they offered to put us in an alternative room. So if your booking, make a point of asking for a quiet room.

Overall good stay
Overall the stay was good, very convenient location and easy access to shops and restaurants. On 12th night there was no hot water in the property due to leakage I called several times. The staff was did not apologise and polite about this incident which was not expected from such a chain hotel. The check in process was pretty lengthy also the housekeeping should be improved.

My stay was good, very easy access to near by shops and restaurants. Hot water in the building did not work on one whole night. The staff did not even apologies for this incident which was not expected from such a reputed chain hotel. Overall I would recommend this hotel to others, but I think some service need to be improved.

Customer service at the reception was disappointing. I had emailed them previously to ask if they could do something special and surprise my wife as it was our 25 th wedding anniversary. But the hotel failed to do anything not even any decorations in our room or cake etc.

I had a really pleasant stay here for two nights as a solo traveller. The hotel is located a 10 minute walk away from the ACDB Metro station from where you can easily get to the Museum of the Future [3 stops], Financial Centre [4 stops] and the Burj Khailfa & Dubai Mall [5 stops] for only 6DHS one way or 20 DHS for a 24hr ticket. The Dubai Creek/Bur Dubai area with the Al Seef Heritage Village, Gold and Spice Souks is less than 10 minutes away in a taxi. The hotel has a nice modern vibe and my room was spotlessly clean and tidy with all the facilities you’d expect. One facility the hotel doesn’t have though is a bar. However, as stated above, the Financial Centre with its numerous bars and lounges is only a 10 minute metro ride away, which I didn’t mind at all. There are two pools. A quieter one on the Mezzanine Level staffed by the friendly Padam [who was always happy to have a chat and was a genuinely nice guy] and another on the 19th floor with a ‘mocktail’ bar and wonderful views down Sheikh Zayed Road towards the Burj Khalifa. The buffet breakfast was great but there are also numerous dining options surrounding the hotel, the Burjuman Shopping Centre & Food Court over the road, and a large supermarket adjacent. Ahmed on Reception also deserves a mention for delivering a hassle-free early check-in and a late check-out. Thank you. As I was leaving on a late night flight, it was also helpful to have access to the spa facilities to freshen up for my journey home.

In the middle of Burjuman, where the workingclass people live. Good shopping, good food and cheap. Shops open till midnight! And some restaurants 24hrs. Hotel was good, swimming pool on the small side. Service and food good but a bit expensive. Breakfast on the other hand was the best. Anything you could wish for and more. Thank you Doubletree!

Unfortunate, as could have been really good.
My issue was with the air conditioning. I walked into a freezing cold room, well below 18c. I turned the thermostat up and it made no difference after an hour. I rang reception who sent an engineer. It was 'fixed' but it took so long to get to temperature I actually had to go to bed fully clothed and at 3.30am it was still registering 18c (the lowest it could register) Then on my final day I was terribly ill. Only then did I notice it wasn't getting below 24c which was really uncomfortable, often going up to 26c. I couldn't complain and get another engineer as...quite frankly...my stomach was not good and access to the aircon was in the bathroom, so, I had to endure it. Just not something I expected from a 5 star hotel. I also paid a cash deposit on arrival and was not provided a receipt for the deductions. Otherwise the room and staff were great.

Would come back here again
First time in Dubai and the staff was one of the friendliest I’ve ever had worldwide. Besides the room being spacious and nice, the hotel spa on the 19th floor was exceptional. Spice Tree restaurant on the 2nd floor is priced perfectly and the food was superb. Wish my stay was longer.

I was on the 20th Floor. Rooms have amazing views to the Downtown Dubai and Creek. Breakfast was also amazing with a wide spread. Staff were very accommodating and allowed me to check in early. A must hotel for Bur Dubai area
