Nothing grand about hotel stay away
Thw hotel name is Grand but nothing grand about this terrible hotel. Carpet and room smells diety. In 3 days stay we have to keep on complaining whole of our trip went in hotel staff fixing. Shame for hotels.com to advertise such patheic hotel which is not upto standard. Stay away for family
To be honest i booked this hotel me my wife and my child 6 years old I been booked 2 bed king bed but i was reach there they give me 2 single bed and they ask me to buy another bed for 200 dirham if you convert it’s cost £44.5 a night I ask why they said what did you get online it’s not right this is business in Dubai and I was up set and I have no choice because I can’t afford that money after I share the bed my son this is my worst 3 nights in dubai

I want to start by saying that this was booked by Expedia and was meant to be with breakfast which I paid extra for but when the confirmation came it was without breakfast. It definitely did not mention that it was 3PM check in time because had I known this prior to my arrival I would not have booked this property. Our flight was an early morning one and when we arrived they told us that we couldn’t check in until 3PM nor did they have “any available rooms” that we could purchase even though we should have been a complimentary one seeing as we were leaving at midnight the night we was leaving. The staff did not care that we had just got off a flight and made us sit in the waiting area for number of hours before we finally got our room. They wouldn’t declare the difference in price for with or without breakfast and had no idea how it could have happened. There was many other people in similar situations as a lot of them were in the waiting area.. check out time is also early so need to bear that in mind. Room card kept not working so daily had to go downstairs to make it work again. Terrible experience not sure how this is a 4* hotel.

What you see on Expedia's website is not it! It's a low budget hotel with very dirty room's and bathrooms. You would have call multiple times for the cleaning and for clean cups! No it's nothing to write about and they do not use Expedia! Expedia is a thief!!
Not impressed at all with the service at this hotel. Alot of the staff were definitely not attentive nor concerned with the service provisioned. Facilities aged and poorly kept. Currency exchange non existneent - told no cash! Worst, very noisy into earlly hour's and on last night what sounded like a massive riot occurred around 4 am. Never bothered to ask as staff didnt care much on arrival.
The room smelt of damp and there were no towels. The only good thing about the hotel was the bed that’s all. I wouldn’t come back again though.

The receptionist was very rude, I have seen so much rudeness while checking in at a Hotel .

Location was good. Bed was comfortable. Reception has no idea what is going on. They asked me to pay them when I was checking out. I said I booked through Expedia and showed confirmation but they still insisted that they have not received payment and I should follow up with Expedia. The staff has no idea what's going on. I'm still here and they are trying to figure out their payment.

I like nothing there.
I have noticed the staff need serious training on customer service and satisfaction. They need to be trained how to talk to the guest in a professional way.

Checking in staff needs more training. Front desk is a mix bag of tight and wrong information. Poor communication between staff. Staff do make up statements to cover up lack of info. Poor organisation at breakfast hall. No one guides you to a table. Once you get up to get more food your seat will go. There is no one to organise the chaos. I found staff just standing there not bothered.
Most rooms needs updating.
Good locations very courteous door staff.

It was not what the pictures claimed it would be. The room and amenities were old, outdated and not the cleanest. The service was also awful. One or two staff members were helpful but overall, the service was lacking.

Good location, close to metro station. Bit of a hike to burj khalifa/mall of emirates and definitely more “local flavour” than one might be looking for in Dubai but a perfectly comfortable hotel, breakfast decent and great front staff
