Enjoyed our stay. Good location close to metro and airport. Lovely heated rooftop pool. Was the highlight of our stay with the kids who loved the pool. Good service and nice rooms. Breakfast is good overall but a little slow replacing cups and food when needed. Would recommend.

The room was huge and clean. The hotel is near the airport and it runs a free hourly shuttle there and back. There is a glass bottom rooftop pool that is pretty neat. My room had a kettle and a small fridge but there was no microwave in the room or anywhere in the hotel for guest use, so yummy leftovers from Indian place down the road had to be eaten cold. On my first night I arrived late so i picked up a cup of noodles to eat in room but trying to borrow a spoon from the restaurant turned out to not be possible. I could have had one brought up from room service if I wanted to pay the minimum $10 fee.

Excellent Hotel. Excellent Staff. The shuttle doesn't go to Terminal 2 I booked this Hotel because they have a Shuttle but unfortunately not for the Terminal 2.

Overall, my stay was pleasant and comfortable. One point of feedback: the airport shuttle service was both late and inconvenient, as the driver dropped us off at Terminal 1 Arrivals instead of Departures. This led to unnecessary delays. Addressing this issue would make the guest experience even smoother.

The room was clean but was a weird design, and I did not like the twin beds, as they seemed too low. The staff was helpful. The gentleman at the excursion desk was excellent at setting up things for us to do. We did not use the airport shuttle because we were making time somewhere for dinner. The Wi-Fi was terrible in the room. I was not able to get any work done on my laptop in the room. I had to go downstairs in the business section to be able to open any attachments.

Comfortable room, breakfast was really good with lots of savoury and sweet choices. We were disappointed that the top roof pool was closed but the maize floor one was good enough for the kids to play plus kids area had fun fountains to splash around. It was a perfect one night break between flights!

3.5 star hotel masquerading as a 5 star. Save your money and go elsewhere. Second stay in 2 years and it went down the drain, speaking of drain my shower in my first room smelled like piss. Like really really horribly. Got moved to another room with no piss smell but had multiple issues as the commonly used things by guests like shower, faucets, toilet seats were loose, both rooms need an intense deep clean. After complaining to front desk, they pulled a big brain move to send maintenance instead of housekeeping or move us to a new room. Manager Ahmed did nothing and just smiled and apologised. Next morning I complained to Expedia who within 5 minutes had another manager Hamza call me who was courteous and considerate and offered us a deluxe suite which thankfully had no problems. It was humorous as I kept finding issues but at one point I realized I should stop pointing things out. Loved this hotel 2 years ago but this stay ruined it, never coming back and will definitely recommend 100% to others .. To avoid this place!!! A few positive things about this place, close to DXB, metro and a few decent restaurants.

When I asked 1 housekeeper if she sees that, she said yes that's a door stopper. 😁

Mix feelings but I like this place. First, the complementary shuttle services from and to the airport was goooooood. Even provided complementary services to the city mall and other places. Good on you, guys. Concierge service was equally magnificent. Although the room was a little small in size, it looked was great and spotless. Room furniture are strategically place to make room to move around. Staff very friendly and respectful. The warm gesture provided were remarkable. Amenities such gym, spa, pool were available but we never used them. The rooftop is magical just when the sun is setting down. The only down side for us was the food. Although, I was convenient to eat at the hotel, the meals were very one-way kind of buffet menu. Not much variety and chef were not quick with their refills. There were significant delays. Meat was a rare thing to have. Don't believe we ever eate beef. Lamp in stew/soup were rare to find. It was always chicken and somehow it finishes that quick. Then, the tray becomes empty for loooooong. In fact, for what Mercure is, I was expecting some good variety with foods, particularly the main meals. My experiences with the food (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) was not the best. I believe I would have enjoyed it better if I have stepped out for breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Aside this, I believe the hotel is a good place to stay.
