We really enjoyed our stay. It was conveniently located to Galena and was within walking distance of great places to go in Dubuque. There is a local brewery just steps from the front door and the farmers market was an added bonus to our trip.

Great location!

Right in downtown, you can walk to pretty much everything. It was decorated nicely and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. Perfect for one or two people. Ken was prompt at communicating. And there is a brewery basically next door! I would stay here again.

Getaway to Dubuque

We enjoyed our stay. This house was in a great location and was very clean. It was a bit on the smaller size but it satisfied all our needs. Ken was a great host and gave us good suggestions for points of interest in the city. We would definitely come back in the future. Thank you.

Downtown vrbo

Host was amazing at making sure we had everything we needed and checking in with us. The property was very well maintained and located close enough to major venues but tucked away enough for privacy when needed. Felt like we were staying at a family member's.

Just what we needed!

It was very clean and perfect for what we needed. It’s not big but we only slept there and it was perfect for my husband and I. The farmers market was so cool to have right outside on Saturday morning! We loved our stay there. Ken was great and speedy with any questions we had!

Great small place

Was a great stay at the house. Small but has everything you need. Ken was very helpful in helping with a few issues. Next door to a brewery with live music on Wednesday nights. Lots of fun interesting things to see and do in Dubuque and close to Galena. Very beautiful area with the hills

Homey atmosphere

Perfect place to stay for 2 people. We happen to see the Host Ken at check in. Ken greeted us and kindly showed us where our place was and let him know if we needed anything. The place was very clean and had a relaxing homey feeling. We were close to the wedding venue and enjoyed the farmers market that was just outside our door. We would definitely stay here again. Thank You Ken for making our stay enjoyable

Cozy & Great location

We stayed overnight for a concert in town. It was a great cozy place to stay and very quiet. We slept in and realized when we looked outside that the farmers market was going on right in front of the building but didn't hear it at all nor did we hear anyone else in the building after entering our apartment. The farmers market was a huge plus to grab breakfast and coffee - plus there are restaurants and small brewery right on the same block. There are also many little shops & more restaurants within the few block radius we could have walked to as well. loved that we could walk to all these places. Will definitely stay here again when we are in the area!

In town for wedding at J Dolphins

Just a quick overnight stay for us to attend a wedding. The venue was within walking distance so this worked wonderfully. Just what we needed, a quiet space to rest. Ken was always quick and accommodating with his responses. He sent pictures and directions for check-in which were very clear and helpful as you dont park right in front of the apartment. We prefer the off street parking anyway. We would stay here again.

I couldn't get into the apartment at first because of the wrong code on the door, but soon after, neighbors told me where to find the owner, and he fixed everything. On Saturday, I woke up in the middle of the Farmers Market (literally, the door runs into the middle of it) - so awesome!

Cozy

Our first VRBO. All went well. Our biggest issue was lack of local tv. (Only streaming) When we travel we like to watch local news and weather. It was very small, but we weren’t in the room much. Just an hour or so before bedtime. Oh, and the bed seemed pretty small. I think it was a queen, but not as big as our queen at home. ? Saturday morning woke up to a farmers market outside our door. We enjoyed it, but maybe not, if you’re a late sleeper. Much chatter. Talked to Ken on our way out one day and he was very pleasant and helpful. We would return.

Awful

The room was filthy and not cleaned up in any regard whatsoever. I appreciate the undertaking responsibility, but it was just disgusting. Also, be aware that verbal would not refund the service fee through no fault of our own, and the owner would only give us a partial refund, even though we could not stay there, and he acknowledged it was his fault. We will not use VRBO again.
