Welcome to Duck Creek Village at 8500 ft! In winter, our cabins offer a serene escape, but preparation is key for a safe journey. Here`s what you need to know: Before you set off: 1. Get real-time road conditions and weather updates with Utah`s UDot app and Wunderground`s website (zip code 84762). 2. Plan your travel wisely and avoid winter storms. Once snow arrives: • Highway 14 may have snow, and our gravel roads will be snowy. A 4x4 or AWD vehicle is required, with chains recommended. • Snow removal is prioritized, but please keep in mind that we contract with snowplow companies who only plow after 6” or more of snow for driveways, and they will prioritize guests who check in or check out first, followed by groups who are mid stay. • Power outages are rare, but if they occur, contact management and we will provide an update on the situation promptly. Keep in mind: • Nighttime arrivals may find limited services, so plan accordingly. • While we`re a small village, we`re here to ensure your winter adventure is memorable and safe. For a stress-free getaway, call us ahead to tailor your trip to perfection! Your Host, Duck Creek Management

We really enjoyed our stay & would absolutely return. We did see that the property is on the market so not sure if we’d have another opportunity. Still a great, relaxing stay.
We had 9 of us stay here and between the upstairs game room, huge living room, outback fire pit and close by fishing spots we never ran out of stuff to do. Very clean and large place, plenty of cooking items to home cook or grill.
And staff was very attentive and responsive to questions during our stay.
The house was beautiful and perfect for our family vacation. It was spacious, clean, and had all the fun recreational things we like to do. Our baby even had her own corner in the living room stocked with toys. We will definitely come back to this same house next year for our annual winter vacation.
We had an amazing stay at the Browning Lodge Retreat! The cabin was beautiful with tons of room for everyone. Large comfortable beds, nice linens, fully stocked kitchen and much more. We enjoyed the firepit and used it daily. The hosts were super attentive to any questions or needs. They even brought some brand new ping pong paddles when requested. Would definitely stay here again!!
The lodge was comfortable, spacious, and well-appointed. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet.
Property management is wonderful and responsive.
We had a great experience.
We were looking for a secluded and nice area to do some partnership business planning. This fit the bill perfectly. Nice and quiet, and all of the amenities we needed for a successful planning meeting.
It was a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! It was clean & they provided everything. We only had to bring our food! I conversed Jacob & Jennifer. They were very prompt in answering any questions I had! I will definitely call Duck Creek Management when we want to return! Thank you for everything!
Browning Lodge was everything we hoped for and more! The cabin was massive, giving everyone plenty of room to spread out and relax, but still cozy enough for us to gather together and enjoy each other’s company. The property was beautiful, surrounded by nature, and the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect escape from the everyday hustle.
The amenities were top-notch, and the entire place was spotless. We had such an unforgettable time here, and the lodge provided the perfect backdrop for an epic weekend. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious, well-kept, and beautiful place to stay. Can’t wait to come back!
The House is very nice and roomy, full of activities for all. firepit was the highlight for me. House book noted to look at manuals for the indoor fireplaces, but there were no manuals, main fireplace worked , but had a very low flame, master bedroom fireplace did not work at all, TV's were a bit hard to figure out, but got it finally. Kids all had a blast, had a great time and would get it again, we love the area.
The home is beautiful and was very well stocked with anything you need! The property manager was extremely helpful and accommodating. Beds were comfortable! We brought a small dog so.there was a $150 fee. Living room furniture was comfortable and the TV had SO MANY CHOICES! The pool, table was a big hit! It was wRm so they brought a colet to put uststIrd and cool things down. I would definitely recommend this house!
Home is lovely... although there were several things that we noticed could significantly improve the overall experience. It was in need of some deep cleaning and attention. From the couches to the cob webs on walls, to burned out lightbulbs and leaky plumbing fixtures. We looked past many of these issues, Duck Creek is amazing, and we are grateful for the opportunity to visit and stay. Navajo Lake is absolutely beautiful, and not crowded, like many other Utah Lakes. Surroundings were beautiful... even the daily rain was welcomed, fun to enjoy the cool nights. With 5 bedrooms, we had ample room as a large family to spread out, and TV was AMAZING!!! Also, having every entertainment app on the TV was such a plus. Overall, we will definitely come back to Duck Creek... it's become a family favorite.
This is our 2nd stay here & we’ve enjoyed each time. Great location & cabin. Clean & stocked with all the necessities. We did notice our 1st stay that the property is for sale & again this recent stay, still on the market. We do love the cabin, location & open communication with property management. Hopefully the property is sold to another great owner or remains a solid rental.
Beautiful cabin in a very nice neighborhood that we like. Spacious family/great room with a big screen TV. Plenty of seating for lots of people. Clean comfortable bedrooms. Nice kitchen with table and bench type of seating. Lots of stairs, so would not recommend for seniors or people with walking limitations. Only minor issue we had was with both thermostats that did not appear to be working. Upstairs thermostat had battery error, so we replaced batteries that appeared to be installed incorrectly. Unfortunatley, new batteries that we purchased did not fix the issue. Likewise, main floor thermostat did not work and even property manager person said this was "an issue noted by previous guests". Opening the windows and turning on fans we found in the closet fixed the issue. Overall, a very nice home that we would return to if available.
