ā« ā«FIRE PIT ā« ā«Solo Stove Wood-Burning Fire Pit available from April through October subject to county fire restrictions. Guests must bring their own small logs, which can be purchased at our local country store. We have our Gas Firebowl on the deck year round to sit around and have warmth and enjoy the beautiful stars.
ā« ā«EV CHARGER ā« ā« Chargepoint Charger available for your use. We have an adapter for the Teslas. We have dirt roads. Winter months needs 4x4 or AWD and chains being carried is advised. Our 4X4 Jeep has not needed chains but we carry them. If you have any questions about winter driving, check with Katie.
ā« ā«DOG FRIENDLY ā« ā«We welcome well-behaved dogs with an additional pet fee of $50 per stay. Maximum of 2 dogs allowed. Please inform us about your petās breed at the time of booking for insurance purposes. Please keep in mind the majority of national park trails do not allow dogs. There are some areas in the parks where you can walk your dog. See our guidebook for dog friendly hiking details. We have used the website Rover to get doggy care. Please see our pet guidelines in booking contract/handout for your review and acceptance. We want to keep it simple and convenient. We will provide a pooper/scooper, doggy bags for waste pick-up, and dog bowls for water/food, as well as dog blankets, and a treat. You will need to bring your own crate if you will be leaving your dog while on an adventure, as dogs cannot be unattended.

We have Yourigami Foam cushions to be constructed into a tent, fort, couch, etc. Indoor activities include many board games, puzzles, and cards, Pac-man Arcade with several games built-in, dual basketball indoor game, kid safe axe throwing game, and movies on 75ā and 65ā smart TVās located in the main and lower living area with your favorite apps for streaming. We also have Corn Hole to play out front or sit around the gas fire table or gas fire bowl.

Our kitchen is fully stocked with many appliance choices to make cooking enjoyable and a breeze. We have popular seasonings available for you in addition to salt/pepper and vegetable oil. The dining/island for six, plus a round bar height table for four allow ten guests to have seating for eating and relaxing. You will have direct access to your bathroom from your room, but the bathroom also has a door into the hallway if you choose to let those on the main level use it. A hair dryer and magnifying mirror are provided as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body soap for your convenience. The log king bed has drawers on each side; the room has a closet. The Pack&Play is stored in the master closet for those traveling with young children.
ā« ā«UPPER LEVELā« ā« The āEastā room has a Queen log bed with a luxury mattress and additional mattress topper for even more comfort, dresser, and two nightstands with table lamps and alarm clock/charger station. There is a ceiling light fan. Youāll find extra blankets. The Upper Level full Bathroom is between the āEastā and āWestā bedrooms. It has a shower and a tub. Youāll find a hair dryer and magnifying mirror in the bathroom for your use, as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the dispenser on the shower wall. The āWestā room sleeps four or five people with one set of twin bunk beds, a full size bed and a single twin bed. There is a dresser and nightstand, and a ceiling light fan.

We have lots of parking on the east and west side of our home.

Awesome family friendly cabin
We stayed for 5 days this past week. We love Duck Creek, itās just close enough away from Vegas to make the drive feel easy & get away from the summer HEAT! This cabin was packed full of games, activities, pet friendly, and the host is amazing! Great commutation, directions/instructions for everything and the TV/internet works great for the little ones. Great clear view of the sky/stars at night from the patio. BOOK THIS CABIN!We will absolutely book here again!

Everything about the cabin exceeded expectations. It was clean and meticulously organized; the beds were comfy and the linens plush. Katie was a joy to communicate with and offered great advice for local activities. Our family of 7 felt totally at home and really enjoyed Duck Creek! Great central location to head to Bryce or Zion. We hope to be back sooner than later to stay again - this is an absolute gem; hands down the best VRBO weāve stayed in.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay here. The cabin was beautiful, super clean, and authentic to the cabin vibe while still feeling airy and stylish. We had plenty of room for everyone in our family with the 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 living rooms. The kitchen was modern and clean and I appreciated how all the necessities in the cupboards were labeled and easy to find. Honestly, everything was so well thought out in terms of things guests might need down to the last detail. Our host, Katie went above and beyond to make sure our stay was exceptional. She was super prompt and offered many suggestions for activities that we could do and provided us with discount codes for many of them. The PacMan in the lower living room was a hit with my big kids along with the fire bowl on the balcony that put off plenty of heat in the chilly air. We would 100% stay here again.

Great family reunion place
The communication for the property was great. It worked out well as we stayed with my brother and his family, and it fit us all well, where the cousins could all stay in the room with five beds. The only recommendation we would have is to have them check the alarm clocks. The first morning there the alarm clock went off at 6 AM. We unplugged it and didnāt think about it again the next morning it went off at 6 AM again, but it was unplugged and off with the battery back up again at 7 AM that day we took out the batteries so we did not have that problem the third morning but someone could just double check them in between stays would be great. Thanks for letting us use your beautiful cabin.

Our host Katie was extremely welcoming, helpful, kind and quick to respond. This cabin had everything we needed especially in the kitchen area! The wrap around deck was awesome, we were able to sit around the fire pit and enjoy the beautiful scenery. They had plenty of entertainment, games, and a a playroom/den. Everything was very clean and organized and easy to find. perfect for multiple families & friends. Our kids didnāt want to leave! We will definitely be back!

Gorgeous Getaway!
Great vacation home for us with cozy and cool amenities... yummy coffee, stocked kitchen, large tv for movies, huge kitchen island to sit around, outdoor spaces to enjoy, and living areas inside to congregate. Minutes away we rented ATV and saw beautiful views at Strawberry Point -- highly recommend this. Wish we would have scheduled a longer stay!! Host Katie was/is perfect in her communication and detail.

Perfect Cabin
We had such a great time here! The cabin was amazing. There was plenty of space for everyone. It had everything you could possibly need. From spare tooth brushes (which my son forgot) to a fully equipped kitchen. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful. Definitely one of the BEST places we have stayed in the Duck Creek/Brian Head area.

Amazing Cabin
We loved being in Duck Creek, even though it was only for one night! From the moment we arrived, everything about the cabin was perfect. We ate at a restaurant down the street from the cabin and the food and service were excellent! The cabin was beautiful, clean and had everything we could possibly need, including a welcome gift basket. Katie, the host was very helpful, responsive and super easy to communicate with. I wish we werenāt just passing through. We will definitely be back and look forward to staying again in the future.

WOW!
"Wow!" was an oft used expression on this trip, starting with the opening of the front door to this beautiful cabin! Many more "wows" followed as we visited five National Parks/Monuments during our week long stay! The cabin was home base and central to all of the Parks. Of course the Parks themselves were stunningly beautiful and the scenery along the roads driving to the parks was breathtaking. We spotted lots of wildlife along the way like big horn sheep, lots of deer, "regular" sheep, bison, horses and more! The cabin itself was as nice as advertised. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there. It was well equipped with everything you would need including a Welcome basket with lots of goodies to munch on throughout the stay, lots of games for family fun in the evenings, and even a game room on the lower floor with pacman and galaga and other vintage games. Brian and Katie Orr were great hosts and provided much valuable information and recommendations of things to do in the area, places to eat, etc. We could not have asked for a better experience and highly recommend this cabin when visiting southern Utah!

When searching online as soon as we came up on this listing, I knew this would be the best place to celebrate my sonās birthday with our family to have a great experience.
The pictures are great however when walking in for the first time this cabin is absolutely beautiful nothing was left attention to detail, and the decor really makes you feel like youāre at home in a place that you can actually live in.
The appliances pictures, pans, silverware welcome basket even a custom note from the owner really makes you feel welcomed.
The owners spared no expense.
You donāt need to bring anything for the exception of food everything you need the cabin had.
What made me the happiest was that the children were so excited with the amazing game room, which they played for hours when it was too cold to play outside.
We all felt like home and even though we knew we had to get home, no one wanted to leave because this place is awesome.
The breathtaking views, when you wake up, looking out of the many windows is just absolutely stunning & beautiful, not to mention peaceful.
My son and the other kids were so happy along with my other family members with our entire experience. We are talking about coming back in a summer and being able to experience a cabin in a different season. We canāt wait to come back to this one-of-a-kind weekend retreat and create new memories with my family.

Family Friendly Chalet - Excellent!
This was our first time visiting Duck Creek. Our daughter was getting married in the campground area. The website photos for Canyon Country Chalet are 100% accurate. From the moment I booked this trip I felt like I was talking to a friend of the family.
Our host, Katie Orr is fabulous. Great preparation and communication. Every detail is laid out for you when it comes to the village, the home or outdoor activities. The Orr family put together an excellent guide book to help you on your Journey.
Thoughtfulness to call ahead and check store closing times since I messaged we were arriving later. Katie checked the Pizza restaurant closing time and other shops so we would be prepared. I mentioned fishing and she made sure the tackle box and fishing poles were ready to go incase we forgot something. We had a last minute lunch she messaged me to let me know where the serving bowls were. She went above and beyond to make this mother of the bride stress free.
The home was clean, interior design- beautiful, game room and basketball for my 10yr old son and a large deck with fireplace to sit at and enjoy family conversation or a good game of cards.
I can't wait for my family to return. I highly recommend the Orr Family and the Canyon Country Chalet for your next stay.

Perfect house outside a great town
This was one of the best properties we have rented! The house itself was beautiful and set outside of the cutest little town of Duck Creek. The house supplied all the little extras like toilet paper, paper towel, Kleenex, laundry detergent, etcā¦ They even provided coffee and some snacks for our hiking excursions. We enjoyed playing scrabble, UNO, and other games which were all provided. We stayed here and went to Bryce Canyon one day and Zion the next. The location worked great for us. Do pick up groceries in a larger town on the way here though, as part of this areas charm is the quaintness of it and there is a very small grocery store here with only a few essentials.
