Excellent accommodations. Room was great. Access was great! Maybe not “3-min walk” from canal park (depending on where you star), but very easy walk and beautiful location! Staff was very friendly!
Parking was not bad but you do have to pay it’s right across the street from the hotel. I had a beautiful studio room with the city view. Had a whole mini kitchen stocked with utilities needed. I recommend this place as a place to stay at.
The hotel is updated, clean, and spacious! It was nice to have a kitchenette with a stovetop and all of the necessary items to make some food if needed.
The one negative is the water pressure. There was hardly any pressure in the sinks and shower which becomes annoying when trying to shower or clean dishes.
The hotel is new and nice, very convenient location. The rooms are lovely and the kitchen amenities allow for eating in room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The only drawback is no onsite parking, there are 2 options within a block, one allows for coming and going throughout the day for a $10/day charge. I’d give this 4 1/2 ⭐️
Great updated materials throughout, well stocked of basic things like bath tissues, towels, soap, etc. The rooms and bathrooms are updated as well and very clean. The whole hotel is very well kept and staffs are very friendly and knowledgeable.
Very nice room. We had to call the cleaning people back in as several items were not clean when we checked in. They were gracious and apologized and went right back to tackle the issues. It would not prevent me from staying there again. Maybe the staff could be a little more informed on the parking situation to share with the staff. Otherwise, very nice and spacious rooms.
Clean room. Very spacious. Loved having a full kitchen. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Super value for a family to stay here. Close to canal park. Only issue was the confusion with where to park and how much it would cost.
This was a very cute hotel! Nice deco and close to Canal Park. It would have been nice to have a top sheet for the sofa bed. There may be people who don’t use one but us seniors do. Please put one on the bag for next time.
We had a great stay for our son’s graduation from UMD. The location was convenient for everything we had planned. The staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. We loved our rooms. The amenities were great. The property was clean and rooms were well appointed. Beds were comfortable and our view of Lake Superior was special. We will be back!!
Great studio room was clean and spacious. Only complaint was the water pressure was low and TV needed to be recalibrated (Witch the front desk took care of). easy walk to canal Park. Would stay again!
Great balance of location vs price, when you compare it to the more pricey hotels in Canal Park. Really nice to have a full fridge, a stove, and dishwasher. Not exactly an AirBnB, though, as for any real cooking you would have to bring in absolutely everything that normal AirBnBs might already have (such as bottles of oil and other things that you only need a little of). Overall great place to stay. One example of how it could be more thoughtful was that in the shower there is absolutely no place to put your washcloth to rest so that you can use it again--no shelf or hook. Other than that, a really nice, new, clean place to rest with nice, firm beds. Oh, and be prepared to park off site and pay for it. Otherwise, no complaints.
The rooms were very spacious and clean! Staff was also very responsive when we needed extra linens or towels. Location is great- within walking distance to Canal Park and downtown. The only hiccup is no on-site parking, but the lots nearby aren’t far or very expensive. Overall very good value!
