The staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the Smore fixings to use at the campfires they had going for us. Restaurant service and food was great. Dining room remodel is just finishing up and looks very nice.

The room was amazing, everything as advertised. Check is wasn't ready at 4, so I had to wait 10-15 minutes. Beyond that, everything was perfect. The staff was great, service at the restaurant was wonderful, the walleye was amazing. I would stay here again, the view and rooms are exactly what you're looking for.

Everything was pretty dirty. We had to wear shoes in our room. The resort really shows its age and wear and tear. There’s new management coming in, so hopefully, things improve. The beach area and location were lovely!

The heater in the room didn't work. Maintaince personel replaced it with a space heaeter. The hotel is under new management and is upgrading the hotel. Beautiful location adjacent to Lake Superior. Outdoor hot tub was enjoyable.

The view was amazing, property was nice, rooms were clean, food at Superior Shores Restaurant was amazing! Only complaint was the bathroom in the room. It smelled, didn't seem very clean, toilet was wobbly, and no toilet seat cover. Would stay here again but hope for a room with a better bathroom. A little expensive for Two Harbors considering the shape of the rooms/bathroom. Still a great place to stay though!

If you’re looking for a place to stay that is very basic then this is it. The staff was amazing, the room was underwhelming. The best part of this lodge was being a short walk to the beach and the firepit outside.

I understand the resort will be under new management soon - and hopefully that will improve things. The restaurant staff was fine. We asked for an additional blanket for the room and were told there weren't any. In addition, the tops of the head boards were very dusty, there was duct tape on the floor (covering a crack?), and cobwebs in the corners.

Superior Shores is coming under new management and their advertising says “new energy coming”. I look forward to that. Everything was adequate, but the whole place has been well visited and used. It needs some buffing up, and I’m guessing that’s what new ownership has in mind. That being said, we had a quiet room, a beautiful lake front to visit, and we had all the basics we needed.

Very dirty room. Spider webs. Doors were both opened before we tried the doors. Would not recommend until they clean up this place. Restaurant was fabulous and so was staff. Highly recommend eating at this restaurant. Just don’t stay overnight. Very loud air conditioner which kept us up all night.

The hotel in general simply looks tired out... Rooms were pretty clean but for $200/night, I'd say they need to up their game! Same with the pool area...just looks like everything could use a good deep cleaning and some updates. The food and service at the restaurant were VERY GOOD. It wasn't a bad stay by any means (we ate well, slept well and enjoyed a few soaks in the hot tub, but when you walk away having spent over $400 for hotel lodging for 2 nights I felt like we were on the short end of the stick this time,

Our first room had a view of a roof and nothing else. They moved us to a different room but there were numerous issues with it. The manager Tim called me and asked what he could do to make our stay better. We decided to upgrade to a suite which was much better. They have 2 properties and some of our group ended up at the other site. We wish we had known this as it wasn't mentioned on Expedia. Overall we had a good stay and loved seeing the fall colors.
