"We had a lovely long weekend staying Lower Curscombe Barn, we booked both parts of the barn which gave us lots of space for an extended family holiday. Very well equipped kitchen, everything you need for a relaxing peaceful escape. "The property was warm & welcoming and has fabulous views. The owner was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The property managers Marsdens Cottages were not helpful. The stated check in and out was 4pm to 9 am. (This varied according to where we were reading). Marsdens refused any flexibility, yet the owner was happy to extend (out of season). "beautiful outlook and amazing quality barn conversion. All the little details have been thought of. Even the loo roll is top quality!!!! Gilbert is a fantastic host. Only downside was It was quite small for 4 of us, and the limited windows meant it was quite dark and I imagine it could get quite hot at the height of summer."

"Decent accommodation in a beautiful village on Exmoor. The bed was comfortable and the full English breakfast very good as well. I had no problem parking just outside on the street. I liked the feeling of staying in a family-run hotel and they were all friendly and helpful. Would return!"
