The room was spotless. Absolutely amazingly comfortable bed to sleep on after competing in the NZ Masters games. A lovely gesture on arrival...a plate with caramel square. Quiet spot. Parking in front. Very friendly hosts. Definitely stay again.

Old-skool motel. Like a 50s TV drama, but that was a massive joy. Roomy and bright. Spotless and friendly. And the beach just across the way to add to the relaxation. If you want pampering look elsewhere. If you want to be chilled you won’t go wrong here.

I know its a corny expression, calling a place a home away from home but I could easily move into the apartment I stayed in, it was that warm, tidy and inviting. Well maintained retro kiwi beach charm and modern where it needs to be. Premium linen, incredible shower. Every unit appears to have a new split system air conditioner. I had a gorgeous private courtyard with trees and shrubs. Insane value for the location!

Very welcoming on arrival. We picked this place for its full kitchen however the stovetop was not working properly and there was no gas bottle in the outdoor bbq when we tried to adapt. The oven worked at least. Good location near the beach. Space is tight with four people and luggage.
