Touchstone's House lies on a lush and expansive 1-acre tropical property. The house is east of Romora Bay Marina, beach-side, tucked in just behind the dune, adjacent to the pink sand beach. You can hear the waves crashing from every part of the home. The house is 70 casual steps away from the famous Pink Sand Beach. The house adorns original, hand-made, hand-painted Cuban tiles from the '50s. The home has the perfect combination of rustic and polished with modern features, like brand new split unit AC's in every room, Amazon Firestick & RokuTV, & Wireless Internet. The home has 4 huge outdoor entertaining spaces, perfect for BBQs and dinner parties.
TS’s House also lies adjacent to Touchstone’s Cottage VRBO listing # 333247 - far enough away for total privacy to rent separately yet close enough together to rent as a duo, perfect for large families or groups of friends.
Harbour Island is only 4.5 miles long by half a mile wide; everything is quickly accessible by golf cart. The house comes equipped with all of your beach necessities. Children and baby supplies can be rented through the housekeeper, please inquire. Daily housekeeping is included. *Note - We recommend purchasing travel insurance.

A week in paradise is probably the best way to qualify our stay ! Everything was perfect : The place, the Beach, the staff to keep the place and garden beautiful. It’s a gem. Very well located in beautiful Harbor Island. Would definately come back for more !

Best family vacation!!

Everything was perfect. We made so many sweet memories and we hope to come back soon! The house was great for children and adults alike. Loved how close it was to the beach and all of the beach equipment in the shed. It felt just like home!

Relaxing stay

Touchstone was the perfect spot for our family of 5. Steps away from the beach made it very convenient with small children and appreciated having access to the shed of toys and boogie boards. The property is well maintained and we enjoyed the fresh coconuts. This was our first time to Harbour Island and appreciated all the information provided. Thank you Karina!

We loved our stay at Touchstone. The house is like an advertisement for a home decor magazine. The location can't be beat ... we watched the sun come up and down on the beach (which is a 22 second walk from the house if you're walking slowly). Karina is super easy to communicate with and very patient with lots of questions/requests for recommendations. We can't wait to go back ...

Highly recommend

Harbour Island is such a magical place. This was our first time to the island, and certainly will not be the last. Karina and David's place was the perfect home base for our little family of 4. It is cozy and beautifully decorated. You are right next to the beach, yet a short (5 min) golf cart ride to restaurants and shops in town. We loved the outdoor shower! Karina was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants, activities, even a masseuse who came right to the house. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The Dreamiest Escape

This was truly one of our family’s most memorable family vacations 〰 Karina was so attentive and every step of our stay was truly wonderful. The house is even better than it looks online. Beautifully styled, clean, comfortable and just literal steps to the beach. We loved the staff who came for housekeeping and to garden daily. We enjoyed fresh coconuts from the yard daily…and enjoyed rum cocktails on the porch each afternoon. We will absolutely be back as soon as we are able. Best House, Best Trip

Just steps away from the most beautiful beach, Touchstone House has a great island feel with all the comforts of home. The living areas and porches are great with a kitchen that is stocked with all the conveniences you would need. Great location! Karina and David are wonderful hosts. They are so helpful with suggestions on how to make the most of your trip and we can not wait to go back! Touchstone completed the best trip to Harbour Island!

Wonderful House!

Beautiful home located within walking distance to the ocean without the ocean front pricing. This home has it all. Charm, location, generator, beach toys. You name it they have it. We had a wonderful time and the staff is super helpful, and friendly. Would recommend to anyone looking to visit Harbour island.

Magical stay in Harbour Island

My family had the most incredible time staying at Touchstone in Harbour Island for spring break. We have been dreaming of this trip for years and it did not disappoint. Thanksgiving 2023

We cant say enough about Karina and David, they are amazing hosts and were there for us anytime we needed anything or had questions about the island. The house was perfect, the yard was amazing, especially for the kids to run around after long days at the beach. They made it a Thanksgiving we will never forget and we will be back!

Great Family Vacation!!!!

We had a wonderful time staying at Touchstone, it was very relaxing. We love make dinner and sitting out on the patio at night. After dinner we would all go to the beach and look at all the star at night, living in the city you don't get to see that many star at night. Touchstone is a beautiful home and we hope to be back someday soon. :)

My family and I had the most incredible stay at Touchstone's House. The house was even more special than the photos revealed. Karina was an exceptional host. The housekeeping staff and the grounds keeper were lovely and did an awesome job. The proximity to the beach was unmatched and the beach felt very secluded. I always think coming home is nice but this return home was definitely bitter sweet. Thank you Karina.

Absolutely LOVED Touchstone House

This house was perfect in every way! The pictures were extremely accurate and the house was even better than expected. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, house was clean, towels were refreshed throughout the week, yard was gorgeous. Definitely rent a golf cart, so you can explore the town of Harbour Island. Staying at this house gave us the complete island experience that we would never have experienced staying at a resort. Beach was so close and the house had sand toys, boogie boards, beach chairs…you name it, it was there. Communication was fantastic with the house manager and the people taking care of the house as well. We cannot wait to book another stay!!!!

Awesome House!

My family had an amazing stay at Touchstone House! The location is perfect and literally steps away from one of the most beautiful (and uncrowded) beaches in the world. It is a quiet area which we loved, yet only a 5 minute golf cart ride to virtually any restaurant on the island. The house is very clean and well appointed and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We especially enjoyed the outside patio spaces so we could remain outside in the fresh air even after our beach time was done each day. Karina was a wonderful host and extremely communicative leading up to, during, and after our stay. The rest of the staff (housekeeping / groundskeepers) were also fantastic and communicated well. Harbour Island is such a cool place and staying at Touchstone House made our first visit there even more special. We hope to be back soon!

Paradise Found

If you are considering Touchstone House to rent…Just Book it! We were halfway through our stay and we rebooked for 2025. Karina was an amazing host, very proactive with her communications leading up to our arrival and keeping me on track with all of my booking for the island. Very easy to get in touch with and when we had an issue with the lock on a door it was immediately addressed. Housekeeping and grounds keepers were wonderful. The pictures don’t do the house justice. The proximity to the beach was a must for us with small kids. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces at night, listening to the waves. Our boys ran around the yard and made friends with the boys staying at Touchstone Cottage. We felt very safe and comfortable. Can’t wait to return.

Paradise Found

I woke up this morning in Charlotte, NC, and immediately yearned to be back on Harbour Island! I can still hear the echo of a roosters crow and smell the ocean breeze! Our time at Touchstone was an absolute dream! Karina and David have such a beautiful and welcoming house that truly felt like a home away from home! The old clay tiles, incredible artwork, luscious grounds and cabinet of glass bottles are all such a special to nod to the properties rich history! We showered outside for seven days after long days on the beach— it was bliss! Oh, and the sand is definitely pink! Touchstone’s location on the island is secluded, and we loved that! The (what felt like private) beach is also just a short walk away, making it very convenient for a young family of four! Needless to say, we will be back! Hopefully sooner than later!

Magical week at Touchstone

Our family just returned from our stay at the touchstone house and we're already wanting to book another stay. A week was not long enough! The house was perfect for our family of four. It's in the perfect location just steps from the beach. Karina and David have done an amazing job in making this rental feel like home. The daily house keeping was much appreciated along with the laundry service the staff provides. The home is decorated beautifully. Both bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and high quality linens. The well stocked kitchen and outdoor space was one of our favorite parts of the house. Karina was so helpful in making our first stay in Harbour Island magical. She provided helpful information about the island that made us feel as ease traveling to a new place.
