Generally the hotel overall does need a bit of a face-lift. It is quite dated! However my husband and I had a very spacious room, with a small refrigerator, a microwave and a small terrace leading to the river and river walk. Very quiet and scenic! The hotel is dog friendly, many dogs were there, but sound proofing must be good, because we never heard any noise. Our room would have been perfect for a doggie family, Bruno could go straight to the grass, without going through the hotel. If you plan to use the microwave, take your own microwaveable containers, none are provided.

The property was beautifully located along Animas river with great views, walking path and very close to Main Street.

Our room was very nice and clean. The only thing we did not like were the beds and pillows. The mattresses were uncomfortable and the pillows were flat.
