"We had high expectations (having read other reviews) and weren’t disappointed. It was a warm and welcoming hotel with very friendly staff who were keen to help and very smiley! Our apartment was huge and more than adequate for the 5 of us. We enjoyed use of the sauna several times during our stay and really liked the fresh ingredients at breakfast. Being in a country where we don’t speak the language it was great that the staff had an adequate grasp of English to answer our queries."

"The lodge is good for the price and in a nice setting although about half an hour from the main town. Listing shows two different rentals on the same photos which is a bit misleading, one is bigger than the other and has a double bed, the other is two singles and fairly cramped upstairs. As other people have said, the building could use some minor care and attention"

"Great location with easy access to the lake and multiple hiking trails and an easy 20 minute walk into town. Helena was a great host. We had an issue with our private transfer canceling the day before our departure so we had to scramble to find a way back to Dubrovnik to catch a flight. I reached out to the host and Helena responded right away and helped us with finding transportation options."

"This is an excellent hotel with a wonderful spa setup and restaurant. Breakfast presented many options for travelers familiar with European and American morning buffets. We had two dinners at the restaurant as well that were top notch. The pool, hot tub, and steam room were soothing after a day of hiking. Great value for the amenities."

"Very good location in order to visit the park. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and plus it’s free. By far, one of the best breakfast free, we ever had. Great hotel about quality vs price."

"We had the best stay here possible! Staying here was the favorite part of our trip. Even though we ate vegetarian, we ate like Kings as beautiful, nutritious, and delicious meals were prepared for us. We really enjoyed being disconnected from social media here. More than anything, we loved meeting the camp staff and talking to them and hearing their stories. Shoutout to all the camp staff for making us feel so welcome and warm. We thoroughly enjoyed our rafting experience at the beautiful Tara river. We would recomend this place for anyone wishing to experience a beautiful experience disconnecting from the rest of the world and feeling at peace with nature and connecting with people. The"
