Everything I would want in a 5 star hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was new, clean and comfortable. The spa was gorgeous. We did have several spa treatments which were comparable price to what I would pay in a London hotel. We didn’t have the breakfast as bakeries were a short walk away and very cheap and delicious.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent—right by the sea and very close to the port and amphitheatre, making it easy to explore the area. Breakfast was really good, with a nice selection, and we enjoyed it throughout our stay. One of the biggest advantages is that many local tours use this hotel as a pickup and drop-off point, which made our excursions extremely convenient. We also noticed that the hotel is particularly popular with travellers from African and Afro-diaspora communities, with many guests staying here during our visit. Overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. With its excellent seaside location, good breakfast and very convenient tour connections, we would happily recommend this hotel and stay here again.

We had such a wonderful stay! The hotel was beautiful, spotless, and everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming. We get also a cake and wine to celebrate our anniversary. A big thank you to the Filipino staff for their kindness and amazing service. We also really appreciated all the lovely people at the bar — they were always so friendly and happy to bring us extra ice cubes whenever we asked. The reception team was just as lovely and helpful. We had such a wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza Durrës and genuinely couldn’t fault the service from the staff. Everyone was so warm, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, but a special thank you has to go to Hergi at reception and Ankur, the restaurant manager. Both were so polite, kind and always happy to help with recommendations for local restaurants, bars and things to do, which made exploring the area so much easier. The spa was also fantastic. I had one of the best deep tissue and cellulite massages by Mary — absolutely amazing and so relaxing. As the hotel is still new, they even provided a spa coupon which was such a lovely touch. Breakfast was another highlight with a huge selection of fresh fruit, salads, cold meats and cheeses, alongside a cook-to-order menu with even more options available. We were also unexpectedly upgraded to a balcony room with a gorgeous sea view, which made the stay feel even more special. The only things missing for us were an outdoor pool or dedicated sunbathing area, and a jacuzzi/hot tub — these would make the hotel absolutely perfect. Overall, an amazing stay and we would definitely return. Thank you again to the incredible staff for making our trip so memorable.
