"This hotel never disappoints. It is always exceptionally clean and the breakfast is fantastic. Homemade breakfast burritos are a hit with the entire family!"
"Checkin was very easy. Room was very clean. Hallway smelled a bit like strong vs spices but the rooms smelled fine. Could have been a guest bringing back smelly food. Wry close to downtown area and World Championship Derby. Would stay there again."
"What a special place! We extended our stay for an additional night because we were enjoying ourselves. Our room by the tennis courts was clean and comfortable. The view of the water from the property was beautiful. Convenient restaurant and bar on site. The access to Dollar Lake made for a sweet morning walk. The staff were very friendly and obviously working so hard to make sure everyone was having the best stay! We look forward to another stay at Chanticleer in the future!"
On the Chain, near downtown, close to trails, private dock, dog-approved! 🌊 🌞 🐶

"Home away from home! This place was spotless when we walked in--so impressed! It was well equipped and felt homey. Great for kids and families! Christine was very helpful and response--highly recommend staying here!!"
"Ifdakhar and Heather are the hosts of this beautiful home and property on Perch Lake. They live in the home and stay in the basement while guests are renting. They greeted us upon arrival and explained the amenities and gave us info on the surrounding area. The home is very clean and has unique woodwork throughout. Owners provide items for a light breakfast. The master suite is phenomenal with a very comfortable king bed, a private bathroom, shower, and jetted tub. The first floor is a common area for all guests to use. It has two smaller bedrooms that share the main bathroom. There is no AC in the home, but during our stay we had cool nights so it was no issue. Outside there is a spacious multilevel deck, with a treehouse type screened in gazebo up a short ramp. There is a staircase down the steep hill to the lake where a wide dock provides gorgeous views of the lake. It is a quiet no-wake lake with abundant wildlife and a great place to sit and relax. Swimming is possible at the end of the dock, but from that point to shore it is a bit mucky and weedy over the sand bottom. Owners offer kayaks and a floating pad for guests to use. The stairs are sturdy and wide, but it is a long trip back up. Everything is solid, but could use a little cleaning. A very minor point that does not take much away from the overall experience."

"The house was amazing, plenty of room for our group of 13. The swim area right on the property was so nice for the kids to play and it’s not a far boat ride from the sandbar on Catfish lake. The house had lots of area to space out. The 2 tables in the dining room were great for eating and playing games. The screen in patio was a great spot to enjoy the sunrise and set."
"The property was better than advertised, the pictures do not do the property justice. We had a great time boating, fishing and making friends with the deer. The deer came up and ate out of our hands. Fishing off the dock was excellent all week. We rented a boat from Boat Sport Marina and the sandbar was a bit tricky to navigate at first, but Mike provided clear directions as to where to go and we ultimately had no issues. We have rented many different places in Eagle River and this is our favorite--we have already booked for next summer."
