Immaculate One bedroom/ 1 bath cottage/ above-garage apartment (air-conditioned and heated) for all seasons! Spectacular open ocean views out to Mohegan and several small islands. Enjoy sunsets, sunrises and star-gazing next to the crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean. Relax on the screened porch to the sounds of waves, fog horn and buoy bells while reading a good book. Watch the sailboats and lobstermen pull up their traps, search for sea glass on the beach or discover tiny creatures in tide pools as you jump from rock to rock on our private shoreline. Hike south along the rugged coastline to Grimes Cove and gaze out to Ram Island Light house. Close enough to enjoy BoothBay Harbor restaurants and shops or galleries, walks around scenic Ocean Point, or the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, yet removed from the hustle and bustle of the tourists and crowds. Nature abounds in this wooded area of Ocean Point. We have spotted osprey, seals, whales, deer, foxes and wild turkeys.
This 750 square foot 1BR/1Bath above-garage apartment has stairs that lead guests up to a screened porch which opens into a tastefully decorated kitchen w/ water view dining and living room. The kitchen is well-equipped with stainless side-by-side refrigerator w/ ice maker and water dispenser, gas 4-burner stove w/ removable griddle, as well as a microwave and coffee maker and Keurig. Dishes and utensils are provided for enjoying home cooked meals. A gas grill is available to cook up a juicy steak or burger, or you can have an old-fashioned clambake/lobster on our private beach!
The apartment is tastefully furnished with comfortable furniture for lounging while reading or watching your favorite shows on our smart TV. (wifi included) Most days and nights you can open the windows to enjoy the ocean breeze, but for the warmer days, it is air conditioned and has ceiling fans in the LR and bedroom to assure a comfortable and restful stay. We look forward to welcoming you to enjoy our "Ocean Spray" escape!

We are willing to consider renting the entire property to families who have proven trustworthy with the cottage…we will never rent the main house while a different couple stays in our cottage. Both would have to be rented together.

This is everything you want from a Maine vacation. Quiet and private location, beautiful rocky oceanfront, clean and well-kept living space with all the necessary amenities. We had a great stay!

What a beautiful location! We spent 5 nights here and would loved to have stayed longer. This was our first trip to Maine so I had plans to do several day trips while based in Boothbay. We loved it so much here that we stayed in the Boothbay area the entire time.We were able to meet the owners and they are lovely people who are very welcoming to their home.Our favorite spot was the red chairs looking out over the water. We were also lucky enough to enjoy the fire pit one beautiful evening.The apartment has everything you might need and is very comfortable. I would not hesitate to return and am thankful that we were able to experience this beautiful home!

special beyond words

We have been in love with this spot for years , It is beautiful serene restfull neat and clean and has the best hosts , This year there was an additional sitting area higher up next to the apt which was wonderful . We love sitting on the red chairs right near the ocean and we also love sitting by the apt in view of the ocean with the sounds of nature in our ears , One cant ask for more ,we hope to be back again and again

Amazing place

My husband and I stayed 5 nights in this gorgeous ocean front property. The apartment was immaculate and had everything we needed. The bed is comfortable, we used the gas grill every night but one. After a full day of exploring, we sat on the red Adirondack chairs and just enjoyed the sound of the waves and the view. Beth and Dan were wonderful hosts. Beth made us a treat and after a long drive that was much appreciated! Can’t say enough. The stay was PEEFECT!

We fell in love with this property when we saw the pictures and when we arrived we were not disappointed. The cottage is cozy and very comfortable but the views of the ocean are definitely the most wonderful part. We were fascinated watching the waves break on the rocks and the tides change the landscape hourly.We visited early in the season so the weather was wet and cold but we had fun exploring the area and making use of the well equipped kitchen to make some of our meals at home.The property manager and the owners were friendly and helpful and made our stay enjoyable.

An Idyllic Hideaway

We're still dreaming of our dreamy few days at Ocean Spray--the gorgeous views from the red Adirondack chairs, so many beautiful and fascinating sites to explore nearby (Mohegan Island!), and the most comfortable and pristine living space and kitchen, stocked with everything we could possibly need!

Incredible property

Another incredible stay at Ocean Spray. Our sixth stay and we love it as much as we did on the first. The apartment is absolutely perfect for a couple. The view cannot be matched and Ocean Point is a very special place. Beth and Dan (and now Frank) are wonderful hosts.

Wonderful Stay

This was our second time at this property and we already have booked our third. The apartment is spotless, well stocked, and comfortable. The owners and property manager are very responsive, and there is plenty to see and do in the area. To top it all off, the view of the ocean is spectacular. I wish I could give this property more stars!

Beautiful View!

My husband and I loved this apartment. It was perfectly located for everything we wanted to do in Boothbay. We both wish we would have had to time to spend here. The view was amazing! The owner was very easy to communicate with and responded very quickly to any questions we had. Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone staying in this area. Love it!

A view to remember

Beautiful property with spectacular ocean view. Very comfy above the garage apartment. Great fire pit in the expansive front yard. Quiet neighborhood with occasional deer & fox sightings. Easy short drive into Boothbay Harbor for great restaurants & shopping. Plenty of nice hiking nearby. We had a fantastic stay.

Oceanfront dream

This property is the perfect getaway. The apartment is spacious with a large kitchen and dining area. The bed is really comfortable, and having coffee while watching the waves crash is not a bad way to start your day. Beth and Dan were extremely accommodating. This is an extremely special place to us, and we are excited to visit again!

Fantastic brief last minute getaway!

My husband and I are new empty-nesters and have decided to explore new places. We decided on a last minute trip during fall break from school. We could not be happier about our decision to visit the beautiful state of Maine! This apartment is perfect: the view, the location, the layout, the amenities. We could not have asked for more! Another fabulous stay at Ocean Spray

This was our second stay at Ocean Spray, and was even lovelier than the first. Beth and Dan were great to communicate with, and Frank, who manages the rental, was nothing short of a rock star (especially when we managed to lock ourselves out). The apartment was incredibly clean, had everything we needed, and that oceanfront—flippin' fantastic! (We dream of a day when we could own property on their road.)

Best possible stay on central Maine coast

The Ocean Spray guest cottage has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and beautiful stay on the central Maine coast. The cottage is right at the ocean in East Boothbay, which is close to all the activities and restaurants in Boothbay Harbor without the congestion and the traffic. Beautiful walk at Ocean Point and the Botanical Gardens with the amazing trolls is only a short drive. Thanks to Frank's suggestion we ate at Coastal Prime (excellent anniversary dinner). The weather while we were there was sunny and lovely, but the cottage would have been cozy and splendidly equipped in any weather. You'll have a wonderful time. Easy to reserve, great communication, and great directions.

Stunning

From the moment we turned into the well manicured entrance, we knew that our vacation was going to be special. This beautiful cottage is perfect for anyone wanting to relax by the ocean but also to be surrounded by the amazing sights and tastes of Maine. We spent many evenings/mornings enjoying spectacular views and gazing at sailboats, lobstering, birds, butterflies and breathtaking sunrises & sunsets. The home has a fully equipped kitchen -which was a pleasure to cook in, dining with an amazing view and everything you could want or need to be cozy and comfortable. Boothbay is a quaint town with great restaurants, boat rides and so many other offerings. After two incredible weeks, leaving was difficult. I made a point to secure reservations for 2024 before I closed the door to the perfect “slice of heaven”. Thank you Beth and Dan for sharing this amazing gift. It truly was the best.

Had a great stay! Such a beautiful secluded spot, but also close to boothbay harbor and a lot of other Maine coast activities. The apartment itself was clean and nice and everything was smooth and easy. Would definitely stay here again!
