"Room basic but nice and clean. Excellent shower. Bed comfy. We were nervous about potential of noise from pub but we stayed on a saturday night had absolutely no disturbance. Only problem in the room was lack of plug sockets. Breakfast excellent good quality produce, not fried, tasted lovely, served nice and hot!! Staff friendly and welcoming. were perfectly catered for. We had 2 adjoining rooms on the ground floor with private access outdoors. The hotel had really thought about our accommodation. The food was excellent and they made every effort to help our birthday celebrations. The pool and sauna were wonderful and the grounds were heavenly. I wish we could have stayed longer!"

Staff and service were great and room had some great amenities. Free parking was great. I didn’t venture out for a walk as it was on the main road. Food at the steakhouse was great and good value mid week offers. "
