The South Arm is a secluded eight-mile-long basin of Lake Charlevoix, known for its warm, sandy-bottom waters and excellent opportunities for swimming, boating, and fishing. Reaching depths of up to 58 feet, this peaceful stretch of lake offers breathtaking views and easy access to outdoor recreation. Anglers will appreciate the area's reputation as a prime fishery for smallmouth bass, walleye, and northern pike, with productive fishing grounds near Holy Island, Elm Point, and the flats extending from Porter's Point to Dutchman's Bay.
