"Beach view and clean room"

"Great location to shops and the beach. Walking distance to Dunkin’ Donuts and dollar general. Down the road from Wicked Waves Water park. The room was large. 2 queen beds with a sofa bed. Room had microwave and fridge. Nice walk in shower. The hotel has a breakfast with some free options. Waffles, muffins, bagel. Nothing gluten friendly. There is a bar at the hotel, however it was closed. "

"We got an upgrade when checking in, two drink tokens, and a dinner coupon from Expedia. We truly enjoyed the marsh view and the coupons. It was school vacation week so lots of families with young kids, but the upgrade moved us from the grunt of the noise. A decent place. Close to everything . Thank you. "

"Place was nice - mostly brand new things in the room. It was also clean enough. It would be a lovely place to stay in the summer! My biggest complaint was that they used something similar to a window curtain for a blanket."

"I stayed at the 1620 for the first time 2 years ago- for a work related conference. We chose not to rebook as the 1620 really needs a refresh. My stay this week confirmed my initial impression 2 years ago. There is def. areas of the hotel that need repainting. The bedspreads in the rooms are...shabby, stained. The lamps need to be updated (so you can charge phones/MACs). The bathrooms are fine. towels fluffy and white, but smelled of mildew. Staff were very helpful and kind."

"Great location! Friendly staff. Bedding very comfortable. Not much counter space- only a small dresser, no desk, tiny bathroom sink with no counter. Made traveling with a newborn a little tricky. All around very positive experience."

"Good budget lodging. Shower had excellent water pressure. The patio and grilling area of the “deluxe“ room looked nice. The indoor pool and hot tub area looked nice and provided towels, too, but we didn’t have time to use it. The staff at check-in and check-out were pleasant and helpful. You can hear noise from adjacent and above rooms, and one of the bed sheets could have used some bleaching/stain remover, but overall good value lodging."
