"Breakfast needs improvement no variety very very basic not like mentioned on post ..there was hard time getting someone in front desk had to be waiting every time noone present ..I stayed multiple nights service never went to clean or ask if anything was needed and again front desk always alone so didnt want to waste time waiting for someone to say I needed fresh towels"

"Newly renovated! Nice grassy area for dogs. Not much to do there. If you like fast food, you will like it. Not many healthy alternatives. 1 small grocery. Santa Rosa is kind of run down but I feel safe in the area where we stay, Ive stayed here several times. Great gym except no one knew how to get the A/C on. Not too fun when working up a sweat working out and you're a in a small, stuffy room. Overall a good value and nice comfy beds."

"We walked into the room and was hit with the smell of just musty, stinky feet. After being in the room awhile, you didnt smell it unless you left the room and came back in. The beds were comfortable and they had nice down comforters. The AC worked great... almost to cold. The breakfast was good. Eggs, potatoes, sausages, cereals, make your own waffles, yogurt. I would stay again"

"This hotel is a classic. The room had a fun, retro but welcoming character. The staff are great and made me feel like a valued guest. Note: there is not an elevator; so if you're on the third floor, be prepared to haul your luggage up the stairs. The property is well kept and the elk, birds and deer wandered through. Nice place."

"If what you’re looking for is an old fashioned roadside motel where you can spend a supremely comfortable night on the road, this is the place for you. It has been totally refurbished, and the rooms are still small but incredibly comfortable. Also important for us is the fact they have multiple outlets on each side of the bed for plugging in your tablets, phones, etc. They do the accessibility for electronic devices far far better than any high-end hotel I’ve stayed in. Since their renovation several years ago, this is the only place in Tucumcari we stay, and that amounts to about eight nights per year."
