Top Eastern Plains Hotel Reviews

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Limon

10/10 Excellent

"Very nice La Quinta. Front desk staff was particularly friendly and seemed overwhelmed. No greetings, no "hello" or "welcome". Just stared at me in silence. I tried smalk talk and asked how the evening was going. "Crazy" was the one word response. Got to the room and TV was malfunctioning so I had to call the front desk. Same person responded and reluctantly came to my room and fixed the issue. This person was friendlier the second time around and apologized for the inconvenience. Other than that the rooms and beds were very comfortable. Will definitely stay there again."

Holiday Inn Express La Junta by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"We had a great stay! We enjoyed the indoor pool with our family, The breakfast was extensive and supplied continuously. All the staff from the front desk, kitchen and housekeeping were friendly, helpful and courteous. The only suggestion I would have would be to have non slip strips or a rubber mat for the showers. They were quite slick even for those with good balance."

Chaparral Motor Inn

8/10 Good

"Bed - excellent and comfortable. Almost like sleeping at home. Room felt clean. Scent of cleaners too strong. 100watt (equivalent) lightbulbs are a little rude (soft light is desirable). Wish there were curtains, not a shade that either blocks all light or lets the entire world see straight in. Breakfast…that was not good. Don’t plan on taking advantage. Coffee wasn’t even worth it."

Best Western Plus Carousel Inn & Suites

8/10 Good

"We booked this site for the indoor swimming pool. When you travel with children, they look forward to unwinding in the pool after a long car ride. The pool had an quite a few bugs in it, so my grandson spent the time to remove them from the pool. He was putting them outside. Very entertaining but.....not what we were expecting. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful, and accommodated our request for extra towels and utensils."
