About this property

Sail Cove | an ESVR property

  • Welcome to Sail Cove, a magnificent waterfront retreat nestled on Maryland's Eastern Shore near Easton, where the peaceful Chesapeake Bay region meets luxurious comfort and endless entertainment possibilities. This exceptional five-bedroom vacation home is your perfect escape for families and friends seeking an unforgettable getaway filled with water adventures, relaxation, and quality time together in a stunning natural setting.

A quintessential Eastern Shore farmhouse — freshly and extensively remodeled — perched high above one of the most unspoiled rivers on the eastern seaboard, with deep-water dockage and no development in sight.

    Sleeps 10 · 5 Bedrooms · 3.5 Baths · Private Dock & Pool

Sail Cove sits adjacent to the storied Presquile mansion, reached by a spectacular sycamore-lined driveway that sets the tone the moment you arrive. The home perches high above the Wye River — widely regarded as one of the most beautiful waterways on the East Coast for its largely undeveloped, forested shorelines. Bald eagles, osprey, and great blue herons are regular companions on the water. Your view looks directly across to Wye Island — a 2,400-acre state wildlife preserve — where not a single structure breaks the tree line.

    THE SETTING

Elevated riverfront position with sweeping views of Wye Island — a 2,400-acre state wildlife preserve
Spectacular sycamore-lined driveway to the property
From the deep-water dock (6.5 ft MLW), the river is yours from the moment you arrive
Waterside screened porch — the ideal perch for morning coffee or rainy-evening drinks
Zero development visible from the property — pure Eastern Shore landscape

Some places are just backdrops. Sail Cove is the kind of property that becomes the memory itself — the summer the cousins finally all made it, the morning your grandfather caught a rockfish off the dock before anyone else was awake, the night three generations sat around the fire pit long after the kids should have been in bed.

The Wye River has drawn families to its shores for centuries. Now it’s your turn. Book your unforgettable waterfront escape at Sail Cove today and create cherished memories with loved ones in one of Maryland's most sought-after vacation destinations.
