"we loved our room. It was clean and very close to Mt. Rainier. The girl at the front desk offered us our breakfast for tomorrow ,with out us even asking and it was good. We left at 5:30 am for our hike around Mt. Rainier. We did the skyline trail and it was easier than I thought it would be. Beautiful views, saw two mtn goats, a bunch of Marmots, a pica and some ptarmigans.it wasn't crowded until around 9:30. So go early plus the light is better."

"I appreciated the physical presence of parking lot security officer surveying the lot (I presume all night?) The only big concern was the state of the shower. I may be too picky but there was a rectangular area on the ceiling directly above the shower head that looked as if it were going to drop as it was drooping. I gently touched it and it was spongy. The caulking around the entire shower insert was cracked, not just a little but profoundly. Sheets and bedding were clean. I never felt unsafe at any time but I have the privilege of being large and menacing in appearance. Your mood may vary. I appreciated the ability to check out online at the early hour that I departed from the hotel. Overall, the value was very decent based on the location and convenience."
