A nice stay at a classic hotel
The hotel room had a classic aesthetic and was immaculately clean. While there are downsides to classic rooms (few plug sockets, no air conditioning) I appreciated the high ceilings and the space. The sauna in the basement was excellent, and the reduced hours were still generous. Breakfast was pretty good. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is on a bus stop, so travelling around is easy (and free). I would encourage the hotel to consider a simpler food option for the evenings - perhaps a pizza oven to make use of the lovely terrace.

Beautiful hotel with some cautionary advise
Lovely location, extremely helpful lady on front desk who spoke very good English. Beautiful spacious room with balcony. Just two disappointing issues, when using the shower the water would suddenly got dangerously hot; so much so it left a red scald mark on my chest for an hour, so I would suggest any children have a bath instead as their delicate skin may not recover so easily. The second issue was that the dining room was closing early the evening we stayed giving diners the only option of 6.30 dining which was too early for us so we went into town. I’m sure this must have been an exception to the rule being a Monday in early February. Particularly lovely touches with complimentary toiletries, fresh fruit, water, coffee machine and cereal bars.

This hotel is located just outside a small town and about 35 minute drive from Luxembourg City. It has aged some, and since we were there off season, had only a few employees around. We were disappointed that the pool was not warm, about 24 C, but the sauna and steam room were working well, evenings only. Dinner was great and breakfast was fine.

We stayed 1 evening in this wonderful hotel. On arrival we were greeted right away and were given some champagne. The front desk escorted us to our room and handed over "The Key". This hotel is old fashioned so the locks aren't electronic. The room was very spacious with a sitting area and a full size balcony. Everything was clean however there didn't seem to be any air conditioning. This was not an issue for us since it was a cool time of year. We had a room facing the road however it was really quiet. I noticed 1-2 cars drive by however this seems to be low season (mid sept) for this resort town. Breakfast was nice with a full spread and the attendant was pleasant to speak with. I wouldn't hesitate staying here again if we were to pass through Echternach again.

Nice grounds and very well maintained. Lovely dining rooms with good decor and differently decorated sitting areas for drinks which were cosy for couples or small or large groups. Creative and tasty dishes beautifully presented.

The room was fairly spacious, and the bathroom quite large. The wall mounted hair drying unit was definitely dated, loud, and the nozzle/handle got quite hot after using for 5-10 minutes. The breakfast and accompany service was very good. The pool and surrounding amenities (changing room, relaxation areas) were outstanding.

Convenient location in Echternach
Great location to visit Echternach, Vianden, and Trier. The breakfast is excellent, staff very helpful. The room is spacious but its decoration needs an update. The room did not have air conditioner, not an issue for us because it was cooler in the evenings.

Two nights in Little Switzerland.
Friendly staff. Very nice pool. No irons available, can be done for a fee. Water pressure is very low so showering takes a while.

Relaxing stay
Wonderful welcome by the friendly receptionist who offered us an room upgrade. We were then offered a complimentary drink. The hotel is clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast catered for everyone including GlutenFree for me. Definitely recommend it.

Just loved it. From the moment we arrived such attention. Welcome drink, mini tour to show you where to find everything in the hotel & it's facilities. You couldn't help but enjoy & feel relaxed. Breakfast was very good wonderful choice. We also had an evening meal which was 5*. Would go back again if in the area.

Superb service for the price we paid in so many ways. Top that we got a free welcome drink on arrival, lovely room, good steam room and pool after our long journey and amazing reception staff who even took our bags up!

After visiting relatives in The Netherlands we decided to relax in Luxembourg before joining the hustle and bustle of the Tour de France. Hotel Bel Air, in Echernacht was the perfect choice. From the moment we arrived we began to relax, to our surprise we received a free room upgrade and drinks on the Terrace while our luggage was brought from the car. We dined at the restaurant for 2 nights. The food, wine and service were superb. We used all of the spa and wellness facilities, the meditation room was a personal highlight. The grounds and surrounding Forrest walks added to the overall experience.

The room we were given was definitely smaller that the pictures seen on the website.The double bed was there but the "double" mattress was in fact 2 single ones put side by side.The hotel could do with some renovation of the rooms ( furnitures, carpets, painting...) there was no way of having a shower without holding the shower head for which there was no support on the wall. The food was OK , nothing extraordinary. The spa area was great ( swimming pool, sauna ) but you have to ask for the sauna to be switched on and it then takes almost 45 minutes to get to the right temperature. Do not forget to bring some sandals as the hotel only supplies sleepers that are quite slippery on the swimming pool tiles. Overall, I think the hotel is over priced for what you get.

Alternate place to stay for business
If you are looking for a place to stay outside of the city when in LUX for business I would recommend this hotel. Rent a car, as its 30mins from city centre. Service was excellent. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Quiet and away from the city lets you relax from the day or focus in piece on business. Not much around the hotel other than paths walking through nature.

Perfect location great facilities
This hotel was chosen for its location as we were travelling south from the Hook of Holland to Switzerland. The facilities eg the wellness centre, swimming pool, sauna area were excellent. The food selection and dining experience made a great start to our Holliday, with both local and international cuisine on offer in two restueants. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Fitnessbereich ist sehr klein geraten und teilweise veraltet. Schade, dass Schwimmbad und Whirlpool nicht ging, Personal Zimmer und Frühstück waren mega 👍 Personal sehr hilfsbereit und viele Unternehmensmöglichkeiten direkt von dort aus zu starten (Bushaltestelle genau vor der Tür)

Bel Air is a cute little hotel that feels remote, but is only a short bus ride (5 minutes) into Echternach. Additionally, the bus stop is directly in front of the hotel. No need to navigate your way in the dark if you are arriving later. Breakfast is a bit pricey for what is offered, but again, it is very easy to get to Echternach for more dining options. Busses are reliable, within 2 or 3 minutes of the schedule. Easy access to the Mullerthal hiking trail.

Leider ist das Hotel nicht annähernd so schön wie die Fotos auf der Booking Homepage, es liegt direkt an einer viel befahrenen Bundesstraße, die Einrichtung ist Altbackend und hässlich, die kleinen Zimmer total vollgestellt und der Wellness Bereich darf so eigentlich nicht heißen. Statt Wasser befindet sich leer und Liegen im Pool, weil man Energiekosten sparen möchte. Dafür stand die Türe der angeschalteten Sauna weit offen. Um das Hotel rum ist Kilometerweit nichts, man ist daher aufs Auto angewiesen wenn man nicht den Bus nutzen möchte

De junior suite had totaal geen uitzicht op het park, maar uitzicht op het dak van de ontbijtzaal 1e verdieping We hadden half pension , het eten was zeker 4 sterren waardig , goede keuken! maar de bediening voor het avondeten had totaal geen kennis ervan! Onze mening! Dringend op zoek gaan voor mensen met vakkennis in deze branche! het personeel voor ontbijt,poetsdienst en de receptie krijgen van ons een uitstekende beoordeling! Ida en Georges
