"Such an amazing spot for a getaway! The floor to ceiling windows allow you to soak in the water views from inside the open plan kitchen, living room, dining room. Or if you want to catch the breeze or hear the water, just open the sliders. And if that tempts you, step out onto the deck, or go down the stairs to the dock and have a sit! There is also a fire pit outside. And yes, the sunset is NOT to be missed! The hosts were awesome and very responsive to questions when we were there. We stayed here while going into Edenton for eating and touristy stuff. Its a very close drive into the town. And we were SO charmed by Edenton as a destination! The only tough part of our trip was deciding whether to stay and the house and sink into relaxation, or go into Edenton for site-seeing and fun."

"Lovely b and b. Historically elegant, but rustic too. The owner and her staff were great hosts. Recommend they improve the directions of the automatic sensor lights. Someone or something set them off throughout the night causing the room to light up like a sunny day at the beach."

"The house is located close to the center of Edenton which made it so easy for walking to our destinations but there was a large city road project ?close to this house and the noise started early in the morning. There was limited storage for clothing. Nicely decorated!"
