Superb VRBO Cottage

Anniversary Getaway
This property and host is the best by far. From the details provided when we made our reservation to the arrival at the home, everything was excellent. The home is beautiful and a great location. There were so many little things provided that make it so special. We know where we will be staying when we visit!

Great property! Great town!
This is an amazingly well-maintained and comfortable bungalow in as charming a town as you will ever find. Theona is a wonderful host, and did a great job of making me feel welcome. The neighborhood is quiet and makes for great walking. I can't recommend highly enough.

We very much enjoyed the town of Edenton, with all the colonial history. Our stay at the Bungalow made it even better. Very relaxing atmosphere and close to everything. Five stars on everything. Hosts were awesome!

Another Great stay
Have stayed at a few of Theona's properties in Edenton at this point since I come to work at the local hospital for a week at a time. Every visit has been as good as the last. She is a great communicator and the places are well kept and stocked. Will be back in the future!

Best Bungalow in town
When we booked, we didn’t think this property could be as gorgeous as the other property. Boy were we wrong! This bungalow is so well done. From the level of cleanliness & comfort, to the open concept sight lines from the front of the home to the back. Sometimes people just have a gift! Theona has a level of class and ability to elevate any space. At this point, any place she list we will book without hesitation. You will not be disappointed booking this bungalow!

Perfect Getaway!
The home is very charming and cozy. It is well decorated and taken care of. We had chips, cookies, water and coffee to enjoy. Downtown is within walking distance, and there are several great local restaurants. The owners are fabulous and take great care of their guests.

Spectacular stay!
My partner and I stayed in the Bungalow for two nights while I did some work in Edenton. The location on a quiet residential street across from a church parking lot was safe and serene. From the house we could walk downtown easily on well-cared for sidewalks. The house is outfitted with everything you could need and more. The hosts obviously spent a lot of time appointing the Bungalow. The house is clean and nothing is worn or second rate. This is one of the best short term rentals I have ever stayed in, hands down.

The Bungalow on Church Street
The bungalow was so much more than i expected. The pictures posted were lovely but there were so many little small things that you couldn't see from the pictures. The home was beautifully furnished and in immaculate condition. It was so warm and inviting and made you feel as if you were home. The location is great for walking to downtown and the water front. We got to meet the owners while we were there. John and Theona were so warm and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. We absolutely loved it and Edenton and are already looking forward to our next visit.

This bungalow was the perfect place for us, it was impeccably clean, it had everything we needed. Theona and John were very helpful and the neighbors were great. Being able to walk to down town was so nice and the people were lovely. So many good places to eat and plenty of great fishing spots. We would definately recommend this beautiful little gem to future renters. Thanks for a great time 😊

Extraordinary!
We've stayed in a lot of rental properties over the years. This was by far the nicest ever. The bungalow is perfect for a couple. It has been meticulously renovated with attention to every detail. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for an extended stay. The furniture is very comfortable. There is even a piano (I'm a musician so this was especially nice). Bathroom is roomy, and the house feels much bigger than it is. The back porch is a wonderful getaway. The neighborhood felt very safe. You can even hear church chimes. Having a dedicated parking place was nice and load in and out was easy. The town is idyllic and the people are friendly. This is a "must stay" if you going to explore the Outer Banks.
