Cozy Lakeside cabin on Lake Koshkonong. Great yard for campfires & lawn games, over-sized deck to enjoy sunsets and breathtaking lake views, lake access for swimming, fishing, or kayaking. Close to Madison (30 min), Milwaukee (60 min) & Chicago (2 hrs), 2 bathrooms with 1 large suite featuring a king size bed & two single beds and a couch in the main living area can accommodate up to 5+ guests. Kayaks, Fishing Poles, Inflatable rafts, Lawn games and more available upon request!

Great Cabin

The Overlook In June

The Overlook was a great place to begin decompressing at the end of a school year and relaxing to start my summer break. we enjoyed biking, kayaking and hiking in the area.

Cozy Cabin "The Overlook"

The location was great. The perfect getaway to disconnect. Couldn’t have been better. Jamie was very accommodating and helpful making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Completely loved staying at this cabin! Very clean, well organized, comfy & had all essentials. I greatly appreciate everything. Wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely perfect for some relaxing time.

Quiet lovely get-away spot

I came to do some studying and get away for a couple of days. This was a perfect place for me - quiet and private, with a lovely second-story deck among the trees! Great kitchen appliances, comfy bed, very clean throughout. Excellent Wifi connection too, which made a difference for my stay.

October fishing trip

Nice clean cabin near lake. The fall colors were beautiful. Unfortunately, it rained most of the time we were there, so the fishing was poor. But the cabin was great.

Love This One!

It's adorable, cozy cabin with everything you need for a quiet vacation near the lake. The beds are unbelievable comfortable. Like sleeping on a cloud. The owner is very hospital and readily available when needed. I would highly recommend this rental.

This was a very nice cabin!!

We had a great time. I just didn’t realize the lake access was so far away. We ended up finding a quaint little lake to kayak on. The cabin was updated with a rustic feel. The balcony was great to enjoy coffee and hear the loons in the morning. I would definitely stay here again.

Quiet winter cabin getaway

This property is perfect for a winter cabin getaway for two. We made great use of the kitchen which was well-equipped with cooking utensils and tools. It’s cozy, clean and exactly like the photos. We also enjoyed the chess set. There is a nice view of the lake and the neighborhood is very quiet. Quick and clear communication from the owner as well.

Vacay

This cabin was perfect for me and my significant other while in town visiting family. Although it didn’t state it I was a little bit disappointed we didn’t have direct lake access. The cabin is a wonderful place to stay and we spent time with family just a short distance away. Everything is very accessible as in places to eat and shopping and when I’m back in town I will definitely check the availability again. Had an amazing vacay! 😊

Perfect

I came for Ironman and needed a place in the area but quiet. I didn't want a ton of distractions at the house either. This place was perfect. It's in a quiet area but still had stuff to do if you like being outside. There is not a ton of distractions at the house so it really allows you to unplug and relax. I could see myself taking another vacation there.

We travel a LOT.... and we use VRBO a LOT ...so let me tell you....this place is SOLID. From basic amenities that made our 2 night stay very comfortable to beautiful location. Indoor ...just great, bath and kitchen absolutely 5 star. Bedroom on the 2nd floor works good for family of 4-5 (it would be perfect to have pull up sofa on the main floor). Outdoor was well organized and we enjoyed smores by the fire each evening. I am highly recommending this place.

Enjoyable lake stay.

This is a nice cabin, it is located on a very heavily wooded lot and has a lot of nature, wildlife. During our stay the squirrels and chipmunks were plentiful and gathering the nuts from the beech trees. The weather was too dry for a fire in the pit. The fire pit table was out of gas. The lower TV was out of service and we needed to buy some TP as very little was in the home upon check-in. Tha cabin was comfortable.
