Grounds are gorgeous! House has an odd odor and shower curtain was a bit moldy. Host was slow to respond.
This property was beautiful and the perfect getaway for my family. The location was amazing and the home had lots of fun amenities for all ages. The property manager was very responsive and easy to get a hold of for any questions. Highly recommend this property for your next vacation
We stayed here for 3 days with our family. All the amenities were amazing we didn't have to leave the property because we we were fully entertained. Hope to be back!
Excellent host excellent house, plenty of queen and king beds. Great for a multi-family visit or multi guest setup. The entire home, pool and jacuzzi are well maintained. Would definitely stay here again.
We had an excellent fall weekend stay at Samantha's house. The house, yard, and area are full of fun things to do. Dealing with Samantha was a delight from start to check out. Thanks again!
This home has it ALL! Lots of space, plenty of bedrooms, and several bathrooms! Plus there is an arcade, a pool and a barn with even more games! Located on a creek, it was very serene and we enjoyed kayaking! Close to grocery stores and the Naval Academy! I would definitely stay here again!
This was ideal for our group of 12 friends. The beds were so comfy, the kitchen was gorgeous and had everything we needed, and there were pool towels for everyone and lots of fun floaties. Note that the bunk room has no attached bathroom, and you have to enter another bedroom to use their bathroom. That aside, zero complaints. We had the best time!!
Great property with plenty of space for everyone! It was perfect for our girl weekend. Close to Annapolis if you want to go out, but also fun to just relax by the pool and hang out.
This get away was perfect for our long weekend in Maryland. It was super clean, the beds were very comfortable and the property is just beautiful! We were lucky to have warm days and cool evenings to relax by the pool. We will be back!
This house was awesome! There was SO much room for our whole extended family. The bunkroom is genius! Perfect for teens or young adults. Plenty of bedrooms with queen or king sized beds. And the room with the boat beds was adorable. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen and the spread-out floor plan. We never felt crowded. There were tons of things to do: a beautiful swimming pool, a ping pong table, a pool table, arcade games, TV's in almost every room, plus spaces to read or just get away. Plus great location...tons to do nearby and Annapolis was only a few minutes away. The hosts were extremely responsive. One minor issue was addressed almost immediately. Super friendly and helpful.Thank you for a great vacation! We hope to be back next year.
The home was very spacious and the outdoor space was enjoyable. The decor was somewhat dated, but most everything was very clean and functional. The bathrooms were well stocked with hotel-sized toiletries. The kitchen was fairly well equipped, though we did have an issue with the ovens not functioning properly. The property manager is aware and is addressing, but it couldn’t be resolved before our arrival, which made cooking for 14 people a bit of a challenge. The large SubZero refrigerator was fantastic. There was lots of space for a large group to spread out, but the bunk room was really not well planned. You have to pass through a bedroom in order to access the upstairs bunk room over the garage, and there is no bathroom attached to that space. Since there is only one main floor bedroom, expecting multiple people to traipse through it is unreasonable. Overall, we enjoyed our weekend, but felt there are some areas for improvement.
Had high hopes for this place. The pictures of the home looked wonderful, and it is a great piece of property! Communication with the host was very good- the property manager was quick to respond to my questions, and check-in was simple. This home has a wonderfully equipped kitchen. Unfortunately, one of the ovens(the smaller one) in this two-oven Viking range did not turn on when bake was selected. Though the larger oven was functioning, controlling it was difficult, as the print was missing on some of the controls and the door would not fully close. The hot tub was nice! The bedrooms were spacious, but the bathrooms were minimally equipped with amenities (small towel bars and shower curtains that need repair/updating) as well as outdated decor. The bunkroom that features 6-8 beds is well done, but lack of proximity to a bathroom makes it infeasible for anyone who needs to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. The dryer in the upstairs common area failed to produce heat (even though it appeared to be quite new). I did message the PM about that and she responded promptly, but since we were scheduled to leave the next day, we utilized the downstairs dryer instead. The room with the pool table looked inviting in the pictures, but the lack of adequate lighting and funky bumpers (some dead, one oriented the wrong way) took much of the enjoyment out of playing. In summary, the finishes and decor in this home feel dated and is in need of updating. Not worth the price IMHO.
Upon arrival the pool was very green. It took two days to get it straightened out and we missed prime swimming on the nicest days of the week. Only two of the arcade games worked when we arrived. The bunk room has no bathroom, you have to go into the first floor bedroom to use their bathroom. The only way to the bunkroom is through that bedroom or to use an outside entrance. There were 6 hangers for the whole house to share...
There was a tidal surge from a storm and we had to swim out and retrieve the Adirondak chairs and kayaks from different areas in the creek. Thought house manager would have checked in on that. The property is also in need of garden maintenance, there were vines growing up the house and over bushes which also were well over due for trimming.
Despite these issues we had a good time celebrating our mothers 90th birthday. The kitchen is nice and there is a lot of gathering places throughout the house.
