"Nice, small, family run motel. I've stayed twice in king rooms. The rooms are quite small but comfortable and clean enough for an overnight night place to sleep. Not a lot of counter space in the bathroom. Plenty of hot water and nice pressure in the shower Small fridge and small microwave. Short 5 min walk to great dining options. And a couple of nice looking places right behind that I haven't tried yet. The price is often right and I would stay again."

"Breakfast was simple but good. Room was clean. Didn't use the pool but it looked very nice. Plenty of parking. Location was convenient to shopping and restaurants."

"Simple small rooms with self-service, they offered nice amenities - Oreos, water, eyemasks and earplugs. The room was fine for what I needed, a place to sleep. The parking was a bummer ($12 a day in a public lot) but the main issue with my stay was noise: the walls are very thin, I could perfectly hear music being played to my right, and a television show being watched to my left. From 6am I could hear phone alarms going off and dogs barking, I unfortunately didn’t get much sleep. If you’re a morning person with basic needs, this is a great place to stay! But if you’re a light sleeper, perhaps give it a miss. "

"This place is disgusting!!! They have roaches and the furniture and bedding is badly stained. I left after seeing the first 4 roaches. "

"Great location. Very clean and comfortable. Parking a bit tight and tough when returning late night. "

"Charming, homey, comfortable house on a small canyon street, nestled among the trees. The house is well equipped with just about anything you might need for cooking, there's plenty of towells, and it's a lovely little refuge. The setting couldn't be nicer, though I would point out that it's not for the weak-kneed -there are quite a few steps up to the house. I loved hiking around the neighborhood (steep windy streets) and you only have to drive a few minutes to be right in the lively, little pedestrian shops on Laurel St in San Carlos. Contactless Checkin and good communication with Host. Will be back!!"
