"This property was unreal. I hosted by sister's bachelorette party here and it couldn't have been more perfect. Everyone was so impressed by the house and there's so much to do there (game room, pool, hot tub, etc.) that we stayed there practically the whole weekend. Rent the wave runners if you can, they're worth it!"

"The place did not look like that much when I first drove up. But I was completely wrong. It was perfect. They thought of everything. From the s’mores to the fire pit to the firewood. The inside of the place looks fantastic. The bed was very comfortable everything about this place was fantastic."

"First time in the Ozarks, so cannot compare to other hotels. But I can say the majority of reviews I read on other hotels mentioned less than ideal cleaning standards. Schmidt’s Creek was SPOTLESS, the staff was extremely friendly and the to go breakfast was exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend."

"The cabin was so cute and cozy with everything you could need. The owners are so kind and gave me a personal tour on the way toy cabin and explained how everything worked. There are grills and fire pits for guests to use and so many activities that you don't even need to leave if you don't want to. Great company in the other occupants and private lake access. All you could need and more! We will be back :)"

"Love our stays here. We would like a sit down breakfast/lunch. We may have missed it. Maybe having coffee in the lobby would be nice. The cafe is good to have for a quick snack after a round of golf, I’m sure. We just don’t play. Old Kinderhook is a getaway for my sister and I. These small things would enhance our stay. Otherwise, our time here is greatly enjoyed. The staff is great, and the grounds are beautiful. Thank you!"

"Enjoyed the stay immensely. Had a great time with my granddaughter. Had excellent pool time with my granddaughter and family. Extremely helpful staff. Room extremely adequate.. small shower but adequate. Extremely peaceful.. so peaceful my son and his family are planning on going and staying a weekend. Just as a getaway they live in the area"
