"It is a 1000 year old building, the host treated us wonderfully and we had a great chat in the bar. Much different than all the corporate owned hotels we stayed earlier in the week. There is a thermo springs a few blocks away."

"Beautiful cottage, very clean, big enough for 2 people, c/w pull-out sofabed if required. Walking distance to local town ~15mins, all uphill. You have to drive to Monsanto though, another 10 mins away. The driveway to this cottage is very, very narrow - you can only drive 1 vehicle at a time, not for the inexperienced nor faint of heart. It is NOT a one-way system either, beware."

"We absolutely LOVED staying here!!! The apartment was clean, comfortable and had absolutely everything you could possibly want for a comfortable stay. The town was positively beautiful and peaceful. If you want to feel like you’ve truly experienced Portugal, you should definitely stay here. We have been traveling by car for a month and the owners very modestly claim that they don’t have a private parking space BUT you can park along the chapel RIGHT next to the apartment or at the public square down the hill near the store easily! It is MUCH easier and more convenient parking than many places we have stayed. We give this place a 10 only because we can’t give a higher rating. Also, the price is INCREDIBLE!!!!"
