Das Waldhotel ist neu und modern eingerichtet. Das Thema Wald und Natur spiegelt sich im ganzen Haus und auch in den Zimmern wieder. Unser Doppelzimmer hatte eine angenehme Größe, das Bad war groß mit ebenerdiger Dusche, einzig eine Ablage hat uns für unsere Kosmetik- und Hygieneartikel gefehlt. Unser Zimmer lag seitlich mit Blick auf den Wald und den Biergarten und über dem Restaurant, was aber kein Problem war, der Biergarten schließt spätestens 18 Uhr, das Restaurant um 21 Uhr. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Straße , möglicherweise sind die Zimmer zur Straßenseite etwas lauter, wir hatten an der Seite jedoch keine Probleme. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit, sowohl im Restaurant als auch im Hotel. Das Frühstücksbuffet war außerordentlich gut und vielfältig. Das Essen im Restaurant war ebenfalls sehr gut, eine Reservierung wird empfohlen. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Drachenschlucht, für weniger geübte Wanderer empfiehlt es sich, die Schlucht ab dem Hotel bergab zu laufen. Am unteren Ende der Schlucht befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle direkt an der Straße, der Bus bringt einen gegen eine kleine Gebühr direkt zum Hotel zurück. Der kostenlose Parkplatz ist groß und direkt am Haus. Wir hatten zwar keinen Hund dabei, aber das Hotel ist sehr Vierbeiner-freundlich. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut, wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Das Hotel ist modern, gemütlich und sauber und das gesamte Personal war stets sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist super, wenn man wandern möchte und gleichzeitig auch nah bei Eisenach. Auch das Restaurant war prima. Egal ob zum Frühstück oder zum Abendessen. Es gab immer eine gute Auswahl und einen netten Service. Ich habe mich in meinem ersten Urlaub ohne Begleitung dort sehr wohl gefühlt!

Een nieuw of volledig gerenoveerd hotel met erg fijne kamers, geweldige badkamer fijn restaurant met goede beperkte maar lekkere lokale gerechten en lekkere biertjes. Ontbijt is zoals je van een Duits hotel gewend bent. Een lopend buffet mag iets uitgebreider maar volstaat. Onze kamer was direct onder het dak gelegen en heel erg warm met slechts 1 klein raam, geen ventilator en geen airconditioning was dit eigenlijk niet te doen tijdens een hitte golf zoals de afgelopen dagen is geweest. De omgevings is prachtig en direct gelegen aan de Drachenschlucht een prachtige wandeltocht langs indrukwekkende kloven, bossen prachtige natuur.

Skønt beliggende hotel lige ved starten på vandreturen til Drageslugten. Klassisk tysk stil med store værelser, god morgenmad og generelt rent og nydeligt.
