Coveta Fuma: Coveta Fuma is a small village between Alicante and Benidorm, just a few minutes’ drive from El Campello with its beautiful palm-lined promenade, excellent bars and restaurants, and fantastic sandy beaches. Visit the fantastic marina and the lively fish market. Coveta Fuma has a well-stocked supermarket and a good selection of bars and restaurants on the village square. It has a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, yet it’s far from isolated; in fact, the main scenic coastal train line connecting Alicante in the south with Denia in the north is just a short walk away. Fast, reliable, and wonderfully affordable, the views are breathtaking; passing through countless towns and villages—Villajoyosa, Altea, Calpe…

Alicante: Alicante is a lively and very Spanish city with many unique qualities, just a 20-minute drive or about a 30-minute tram ride away. It’s one of the few cities in Europe located right on the beach! It has a fantastic marina with bars overlooking the stunning boats moored there. There are many interesting shops, including El Corte Inglés, Spain’s leading department store. There are a number of fantastic restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. A visit to the area isn’t complete without a trip to Santa Barbara Castle, located in the city centre, which offers a stunning, sweeping view of the surrounding area. You should also definitely try getting lost in the winding alleys of the Barrios, preferably in the evening when there are literally dozens of bars and restaurants with people spilling out onto the streets—great for people-watching.
