Country House 'Del Río Tejos' with Mountain Views and Private Terrace

Casa Rural del Río Tejos offers spacious 200 m² accommodation for up to 8 guests in El Hornillo (Ávila), in the heart of the Tiétar Valley, at the foot of the Sierra de Gredos.



The home occupies the first floor of the former teachers' houses, a 1950s building fully renovated with traditional local materials: granite, solid brick and pine coffered ceilings. Everything is on one level.



Layout:

- Large living/dining room with fireplace and an integrated, equipped kitchen.

- 4 bedrooms: 2 with a double bed and 2 with twin beds.

- 2 full bathrooms.

- Spacious patio with barbecue, ideal for outdoor dining.



Amenities: heating, fireplace, TV, washing machine, bed linen and towels included.



Location: a short walk from the village square and natural river pools suitable for swimming, with views of the Venero Blanco mountains, El Tamboril and the pine forests of the Sierra de Gredos Regional Reserve. An ideal base for hiking (such as the ascent to Los Galayos), horse riding and outdoor activities. Arenas de San Pedro is very close. The area is known for its microclimate, cherries and traditional architecture. Patron saint festivals: 25 April and 27 December.
